" Kai wake up. time to start training!" Wu said Knocking on Kai's door. " Yes sensei. I'll be out in a bit." Kai said. A couple minutes later he walks out of his room in his gi. " Wow. Kai I expected you to come out in like an hour still in your pj's and half asleep." Nya said laughing. " yeah well you thought wrong" Kai said in a serious tone. They all stopped laughing and looked at Kai kind of surprised. " What so funny? The fate of my boyfriends life rests in my hands. I'm up at the crack of dawn." he said. " Kai you're ready. Good we leave now." Wu said. They got onto Kai's dragon and headed off towards the volcano where he found his golden sword and awakened his dragon. When they arrived they found Garmadon standing at the entrance. " Garmadon what are you doing here?" Kai asked as they landed. " I am here to train you. Wu will be here to make sure you don't die." Garmadon said. As they walked inside Kai remembered the first time he entered here. The time he woke his dragon up. " The key to making a weapon made out of an element is to be in touch with the element itself. You must concentrate. You need to be one with fire. Feel Its power, Its strength, Its deadliness. Everything about the fire element you must feel it, Be one with it. You must have control of all types of fire." Garmadon said. Kai sat down and closed his eyes staying calm trying to do what Sensei G said. As he meditated the Lava surrounding him soon stopped flowing and stopped popping. It just sat there. Soon the Lava started to float and the ground started to shake a little. But seconds later it all fell and the lava returned to normal.

Kai had tried many times but no matter how many times he tried he couldn't do it. " I can't. No matter how many times I try I just can't do it." Kai said giving up. " Don't give up. If you give up then Lloyd will die. You're loved one will die. The person that you love so much will die Kai. You must not give up." Garmadon said. Kai nodded and closed his eyes trying again. This time the lava started to move towards him. As it got closer the lava started to swirl around him. But it then went back to the chasms and fell. He opened his eyes with disappointment.
