I wake up to the suns first rays kissing the horizon and I welcome it with a boisterous groan. I rubbed my eyes, half way attempting to rub the sleep from my eyes. I was not a morning person and sitting and sleeping in the car all day yesterday made all my muscles stuff, which was not helping my disgruntled mood.

I opened the driver door and slowly eased my way out, not wanting to cause any more irritation to my muscles. The cool, crisp, clean aroma from the air was a welcome change from the hot stuffy air from the car.

I took the time to stretch my entire body, except for my wings, I wouldn't dare expose those out in public like this.

Once I had finished stretching, I felt instantly better and with the departure of my mood came the landing of my appetite. Fierce roars erupted from my stomach like a lion, But I wasn't to surprised. The only things I have eaten over the last twenty-four hours was an orange and a Poptart.

My eyes widened at a sudden realization and I smacked myself with my right hand. The pop tarts I had purchased yesterday where for breakfast as well, But I had left in such a hurry, I had forgotten them.

I took a look around my surroundings, keeping an eye out for any cops or questionable looking people, But the only people in sight were an elder couple sitting on a bench in front of the large tree in the middle of the park, the women's head on his shoulder and he was leaned in. It was a beautiful moment and I couldn't help not smiling at it.

The other only person in the immediate area was a girl who was cocking her head at me, My enhanced eyesight showed me she was frowning, almost trying to figure something out.

I hope that wasn't too concerning, I know in small towns such as these, visits are probably rare and everyone here knows each other so I assume that an visitor sticks out like a sore thumb.

I shook of her almost vicious stare and ducked back in the car. I opened the console and found a practically new box of Tick Tacks, a couple penny's and a pen. Not much to go by. I checked under the driver's seat and except for a few dried up glass blades and some dirt, there was nothing.

I leaned over to the passenger side and dug around there. There was a funnel and an rolled up extension cord underneath the seat. I was about to give up looking under the seats when a piece of paper caught my eye. With my finger and thumb, I carefully lifted the envelope from under the carpet and took a look. It was a regular white envelope, but when I felt it, it was thick around the middle and felt a lot like...

My eyes widened at the realization and carefully pried open the envelope flap. Staring back at me was a wad of bills. A smile composes itself on my face, only to diminish like a fly on a Dionaea muscipula. Knowing if my luck had to do anything with this find, It probably meant this money was counterfeit.

I slipped a twenty out from the envelope and set the envelope down. I placed the bill over the sun and it came through as a clean. My eyes widened at the wonderful discovery, Real money, I felt a ping of guilt. I was basically robbing, wait, there is no basically. That was exactly what I was doing.

I took a deep breath, well, chances are, if they own a Cadillac, they have good insurance.

Taking out the money, I counted three hundred dollars, all in fives, tens and twenties. I pull out two twenty's and place them on my lap before stuffing the rest back into the envelope then place the envelope back in its place under the mat.
