MR. MYSTERY𓆝 𓆟 𓆞
On a sunny Wednesday afternoon, class was coming to an end. With his usual air of lethargy, Aizawa glanced at his students before speaking in his low, groggy tone, "Class dismissed. Have a good evening."
The students of Class 1-A sprang up from their seats, eager to leave the classroom. Some hurriedly gathered their belongings, while others lingered to socialize with their peers.
But one student remained seated— Iida Tenya.
Usually, Iida would have engaged in lively conversations with his closest friends, Midoriya and Uraraka, as they packed their things. However, lately, Iida had been feeling different, in a strangely pleasant way. This new sensation puzzled him, but it was centered around one person in particular— (L/n) (Y/n).
She was unlike any girl he had ever encountered. Her personality was a fascinating mix of sassiness, recklessness, shyness, and humility. (L/n) had the remarkable ability to adapt her behavior based on her own emotions and the emotions of those around her.
Iida and (Y/n) were on friendly terms, though not as close as he desired. Yet, it was a good starting point.
"Iida!" a bubbly voice snapped him out of his reverie, followed by two childish giggles. "Iida, were you staring at (Y/n)-chan again?" Uraraka playfully chided.
Startled, Iida hastily adjusted his glasses and began chopping the air with his arms in a flustered manner. "Please do not startle me like that, Uraraka-san! You nearly gave me a heart attack!"
Uraraka and Midoriya burst into laughter at Iida's choppy movements. "S-Sorry, Iida. You were in some trance. We—" "He was daydreaming about (Y/n)-chan again!" Uraraka interrupted, struggling to contain her giggles.
Iida covered the lower half of his face with one hand, avoiding eye contact with his playful friends. "I was not. I was...thinking, that's all."
About to tease Iida once more, Uraraka was stopped by Midoriya. "Come on, Uraraka. It's not nice to tease people. Besides, if we don't hurry, we'll miss our train!" Letting out a sigh, Uraraka grabbed her school bag. "I guess you're right. Now, come on, you two. Let's get going."
As the infamous trio strolled along the sidewalk, Iida couldn't shake off his concern for his beloved (Y/n). He found himself pondering over her well-being.
"Has she gotten home safely? Has she eaten a nutritious dinner? Is she studying for that test we have Friday? Did she finish her homework? I wonder if-"
"Iida-kun!" Uraraka's voice rang out, jolting the boy from his thoughts again. "You have to make a move on her, man. I can't bear to see you helplessly watching her from a distance all the time."
Midoriya scratched the back of his head. "Y-Yeah... I heard a guy from the General Studies department has feelings for her and plans to confess soon."
Those words struck Iida deep in the heart. He desperately racked his brain for a plan, but nothing came to mind. "What should I do then, Midoriya? I don't want to miss my chance, but I'm too anxious to approach her face-to-face!"
Silence enveloped the trio for a moment until Midoriya let out a cry of joy. "I've got it! It's a rather unconventional strategy, but it just might work!"
Uraraka tilted her head in curiosity. "What is it? I'll do whatever it takes to ensure our ship sets sail!"
Iida glanced at Uraraka, a puzzled expression on his face. "Your...ship? I didn't know you owned a ship, Uraraka-san."
Uraraka giggled. "Not that kind of ship, Iida! I'm referring to a romantic pairing between two people! For example... you and (Y/n)-chan!"
A faint blush tinged Iida's pale cheeks. "Oh... I see. I suppose I need to improve my 'internet slang,' right?" Uraraka giggled again. "You're so precious, Iida. Now, what's your plan, Deku-kun?"
Midoriya wore a determined smile. "Uraraka, do you have (L/n)'s phone number?" A mischievous smile played on her lips. "I do. How does that fit into the plan?"
"Uraraka will give Iida (L/n)'s number so he can message her anonymously. This way, he can confess his feelings without the pressure of a face-to-face conversation and perhaps gain the confidence to approach her!"
Uraraka let out a squeal of excitement. "That's a fantastic plan, Deku-kun!" Midoriya blushed, covering his face with his arms in an intriguing manner. "T-Thanks. I got inspired by this fanfic... I mean, a book I was reading on the train."
Iida placed a finger on his chin, contemplating the idea. "Are you certain this is a good idea? I don't want her to think I'm a weird stalker." Uraraka beamed brightly, "Of course it is! Now, give me your phone!"
