The final bell rang and I gathered my stuff, wanting to get out of the school doors. Unfortunately though...
"Hey babe."
I gritted my teeth as I looked into his hazel eyes. "I haven't seen you for so long, Ben! It's been like 5 seconds and you miss me already?"
He grinned and nodded. "You're just too amazing."
I grinned and bit my bottom lip. "I know I am. Just try not to get jealous."
He chuckled, "I'll try too. Come with me."
I was confused as I followed him. "Where to?"
He got in his SUV and gestured for me to come in. "No way."
He pouted and stuck out his bottom lip. "I thought we were friends. I won't kidnap you, we just have to start on the working."
His eyes held sincerity which is the reason I climbed into the passenger seat.

Ben pulled up to his house and I realized there was already a car parked there. I thought it was his parents or something. His house was a white two story house. It was gorgeous. He walked in front of me and pushed the front door, waiting for me to walk in. "What a gentleman," I teased sarcastically.
He grinned. "I try."
I walked in as Ben kicked his shoes near the door. My heels were killing me so I took them off as well and followed Ben to his room upstairs. "Come in," he said, when I waited at the door.
"I'm good here," I smiled.
"Don't make me get you inside."
"What are you gonna do?" I snorted.
He ran towards me and threw me over his shoulders and I had no option other than clinging on to his neck for my dear life. "Put me down!" I screamed.
"Put her down."
I glanced up into the most softest brown eyes I've seen. Ben put me down and I stood up, looking at the boy in front of me. He looked older than Ben, but not that old. Maybe like 20-ish. He had darker eyes than Ben but the same hair color. His hair was messily ruffled and he had a black earring in his right ear piercing. He was wearing a white shirt that clung to his torso and a pair of grey sweatpants on.
I smiled as Ben introduced us. "Valerie, this is my older brother, Josh. Josh, Valerie, my friend."
I glared at him. "I said, you're not my friend."
He chuckled and ruffled my hair as I tried to hide my smile. I turned my gaze to Josh who was grinning. "Hi."
"Hey, is my brother bothering you?"
I giggled. "Yes."
"I'll save you," he grinned. I ran behind Josh before Ben would catch me. Peeking over Josh's shoulder, Ben was smirking at me.
Josh wrapped his hands backwards and I was surprised of the feeling I felt when they touched my waist. A jolt of electricity went through me and I felt a shiver down my spine. I've never felt that way before. I hope he didn't feel it too.
