Chapter three

When suddenly there is a knock on the door.

"I'll get it," I say. I open the door, "hello?"
Nobody's there? I look around the hallway to look for whoever knocked on the door, but no one was there
"Who is it, Reilly?"
"I don't know, there's nobody there now. Well, let's get working on the project."
"Okay." He says. We continue to work on Hide's project. we worked for awhile until I looked at the clock and it said '9:23'
"hey look at the time, do you wan to get read to leave?"
"sure, are you sure you want to walk home with me. You don't have to."
"Its okay, don't worry about it. I walk a lot anyway so it doesn't change much."
"Okay. Well, let's go." He opens the door and we walk out at the same time.
"You go first,"
"Yeah, sure" he walks out the door then I follow. Walking out was a little awkward. We find ourselves walking to the elevator, rather than the stairs. I don't question it much. Hide presses the button and we wait for the elevator to open. After waiting for a few moments the door opens. I motion for him to go in first. He walks in and I follow. "Um... Thanks for helping me" hide says
"Yeah, it's no problem. I had fun." I say with a smile. We go down three levels when the door opens. He walks out first. I think learning I was going to motion him to leave first. Haha, he's quite smart I think to myself.
"So where do we go now, I don't know how to get out from here."
"Ah it's easy, just follow me" we walk forward for a little bit and then turn left. When we enter that hallway the door was just visible.
"Ah, I can see the door now." We walk out to the door and I open it for him to walk out and I follow. When suddenly a few kids surround us.
"Oh, look its hide, what do you need a girl to protect you" other kids join in laughing with the tall delinquent. That really fucking pisses me off, so what if I'm a girl.
"What does me being a girl have to do with anything?"
"Because girls are fuckin' weak." Again the other delinquent laugh.
"Whatever. I have things to do so I've you'd leave that would be great."
"Haha, what you scared. Gonna go cry to mommy, " that lit something in me because the moment he said that I punched him square in the nose. I shook out my hand because of how hard I punched him.
'Holy shit'
'Dude what the fuck' were some of the words that came out of them, I'm too enraged to bother to give them a second thought. "Eh, she's only one girl all of us could beat you no sweat." "Hell, I could beat you by my self." One of the followers says.
"Okay try me," I say simply. Most had run away at this point. The only ones left were the ones too scared to move. The boss man, laying on the ground in pain, and the one idiot facing up against me. He hurls a punch at me while I'm not paying attention. I try my best to dodge it but it ends up skimming my face. I counterattack by punching his jaw.
"Ah, that one kinda hurt. You're going to pay for that." Hypocritical bitch, I think to myself.
"Oh, your such a hypocrite." He tries to punch me again, but this time I successfully dodge it. I punch him in the stomach and he falls down. "You done because I have to get someone home."
"Fine I give, you fucking monster."
Monster... Maybe. But you have no right. Hypocrite.
"Well, I suppose we shall get going?"
"Um, yeah. Also, remind me to NEVER get on your bad side."
"I'm pretty good at forgiving people if there someone I know." That's probably how I got in this mess. "Well, lead the way." We walk out of the dorm lot. We turn left and continue walking.
"The lights are so pretty aren't they?"
"Yes, they are. Honestly, this feels like some type of date." I laugh.
Hide laughs as well. We pass by a gas station, "man I'm hungry, " he says as his stomach makes a noise.
"Want me to get you anything?"
"Nah, I'm good I've got stuff at home."
"Okay, " I say with doubt. We walk for a little bit when hide says,
"Well, you can leave me off here."
"You sure?"
"Yes. Well, bye I'll see you at school tomorrow."
"Yup, see you" we wave bye to each other and walk our separate ways.
Okay, that was a little wired. It's almost like he doesn't want me to know
After that, I didn't think too much of it. I start on my way home. The sky filled with hundreds of stars, lighting the way. After 15 minutes I reach the entrance of the dorm. I look around, good nobody is here. I walk into the building then up the stares. Once I reach my door and stop for a moment and think about what happened earlier. Who was at the door. No one was in the hallway at all... I choose to forget about because I need sleep. I need to do other stuff first though. So I wash my face, brush my teeth and hair, put on my pajamas and get into to bed. I feel comfortable.

"She's there"
"Don't worry about it. I have it all under control."
Laughing
Laughing
Uncountable laughing
Screams
Unsettling screams.
"Is this what you want... Reilly"

(Back to normal pov)
I wake up suddenly in a cold sweat. I must have had a nightmare. The only thing I remember from it is ' is this what you want Reilly' I look over at the time 3:58 a.m. I'm still tired, but I know I can't fall asleep...
I'll check to see if I have any homework. I get out of bed and walk over to my desk, where my bag is laying. I look through all my belongings. Nothing. No homework. I have nothing to do. I grab my phone from the nightstand, 5%. I must've forgotten to put it on the charger last night. Oh well. It's only 4 am it has time to charge. In the meantime, I think I'll walk around the campus. I could get to class early, not deal with anyone. So I get all my things together and sling my backpack over my shoulder. I walk down the stairs then out the door. I make sure that I have my portable charger and my phones plugged in. Good, it is. I really don't want to go to classes today, but I have to. Otherwise, they'll call my mom and or dad. And no one wants that. It's like looking the devil in the face.
"Yeah can't let that happen," I say under my breath.
"Can't let what happen?" Someone asks.
"AH!" I let out a small yelp.
"Haha, I'm sorry 'bout that. My name's Rose!" She said enthusiastically.
"Um, I'm Reilly. Nice to meet you... I guess."
"Wow, you sound tired!" Rose says. 
"Yeah, I guess. Well, I have to go bye." I get out of there as fast as possible. She doesn't seem like a full on bitch. So I guess that's good. I walk to the campus entrance. I look down at the time on my phone. 5:13 am. When did an hour go by, whatever? I go to my locker and put away my things. There are some vending machines in here... I think... I walk around for a while. After 20 minutes I find one. Hmm, I'll get a pop tart. I put in a dollar fifty then grab put the pop tart. When I stand back up I look into a dark hallway and see that there is a black figure in the hallway, It quickly moved away, it looked like a blur.
