(Heads up, Oc is in here)
"We have no money, I don't know why we're going here." George complained to his best friend in the car. Kiki rolled her eyes. "Fred, tell your twin to lighten up and remove the stick from his arse." Kiki said to Fred. "Lighten up and take the stick out of your arse, George." Fred said. "In plus, we just got our birthday money, you didn't spend it all, did you?"Fred turned in the passenger seat to face George. "No, but we better stop at hot topic to stock up on lgbt stuff, then." Georg told kiki.
"Deal, try to have a good time, find some hot guys..." Kiki shared a sly look with George in the mirror. George laughed. "I'll keep my eyes peeled." He snorted. "The mall is the best place to go to find a cute bf." Kiki stated. "You sound like a 13 year old." Fred laughed. Kiki elbowed him.
Once they arrived at the mall, Kiki spotted the first store. "Oh! Let's see if Vans have those cute checkered slip ons I've been seeing." Kiki dragged the twins towards the store. "Only basic bitches wear those." George said with an eye roll. "Yeah, while your at it, don't forget to stop at Starbucks and add your drink to your insta story." He said, making Kiki give the biggest eye roll of the century. "Stop being Debbie downers." She complained as the three walked through the doors to the shoe store.
The store had a 'skater boi' vibe to it, the wall behind the register was covered in a giant picture of what looked like to be a bunch of people at a concert, it gave George the creeps. While Kiki and Fred were joking around about the mini shoe keychains, George noticed the cashier. There was no other word for it, the cashier was hot. He was a black boy, he looked around George's age, his black dreadlocks were piled on top of his head in a messy bun, while two or three hung down in his face. One of his jacket sleeves fell off of his shoulder, and George couldn't help notice the various gay pride pins he was wearing on his jacket. George also couldn't help but notice how nice his skin looked, and how long and thick his eyelashes were.
George looked away in fear of being caught staring at him. He was pretty sure his face was red. "Mates, look at the cashier and try to tell me he's not cute." George whispered to Kiki and Fred. They both discretely looked over at the cashier, who was talking to another employee. "Well, he's obviously gay, try getting his number." Fred whispered, nudging his twin encouragingly. "I might..." george said, trying to not make it obvious that there's a group of three teens whispering in a huddled group.
George was looking at the vans in the shoe section when the cute vans boy walked over to where He was standing with a pile of shoe boxes, restocking some blank areas. "Finding everything ok?" He asked George. George looked over and got a good look at his name tag. "Lee" George thought it was an adorable name. "Yeah, I'm fine." George answers with his best looking smile. "Bit pricey, these shoes are." George commented. Lee smiled at him. "Yeah, a bit, working here comes with its perks, I got a discount on mine." He looked down at his shoes and so did George. A pair of black vans with white platforms and embroidered roses. "Ah, I'm quite a big fan of embroidery, I got this embroidered on my jacket just last week." George showed him the gay pride flag that was on the front of his jacket. He grinned at how Lee's face lit up a bit. "Oh, I love that! I only stick with the pins, although I would love to get that embroidered on my jacket!" He exclaimed in a passionate tone. Just then, another customer walked up to the counter, ready to check out. "Oh, I gotta go." Lee said, then walked away to check out her stuff.
Fred and Kiki appears at his side. "So, how did it go? Did you get his number?" Kiki asked. "Yeah, what did you guys talk about?" Fred added. George grinned. "He's downright adorable, I'm telling you, his name is lee." He told them, still awed at how well he handled talking to him. "I noticed the embroidered roses on his vans and showed him the flag on my jacket." George recapped, fiddling with the zipper on his jacket nervously.
When Kiki found the right pair, they went up to the register. "Find everything alright?" He asked, taking the pair of shoes from Kiki. "Absolutely." George answered for Kiki, smirking at him, trying his best to contain his inside screaming. He was doing it. He was flirting and he prayed it wouldn't end in a train wreck. Lee looked at George for a moment and continued to ring Kiki up. George noticed more smaller things. Lee's lips had darker bite marks on the bottom one, his lips looked soft and extremely kissable, he noticed his chocolate-hazel eyes and the way they squinted slightly when typing in the price, and he noticed how elegantly he typed, using only his middle finger, his eyes were brought down to his neck. His collarbones stood out, which George found extremely attractive, and he noticed again how soft and smooth his dark skin looked.
Once Kiki had her bag, George knew it was time to leave, but he had to get this guy's number. He quickly looked at the keychains with tiny vans attached to them and noticed how there was a black pair that looked like Lee's, mini embroidered roses and all. He took the key chain and shared a understanding look with Kiki, who nodded once and took Fred by his arm out of the shop. He placed it on the counter and lee noticed his choice. "I guess you liked my shoes, huh?" Lee asked with an adorable smile. George grinned, "in memory of you." He answered. Lee held a hand to his heart, "Aw, I'm flattered." He answered. George was once again brought to the background behind lee. "Doesn't it creep you out to be surrounded by all these faces?" He joked, leaning against the counter. Lee looked behind him and laughed, "oh, not really, me and my coworker play this game were we try to find the most attractive looking one, which is kinda hard, none of them catch my eye." He answered, observing the faces then looking back at George. "Oh well I definitely saw one that caught my eye right away." George said with a smirk on his face, looking straight at lee. He saw Lee's face get darker. "Oh really, which one?" He asked, his voice cracked a little. "Does it count if the person is outside of the picture?" He asked flirtatiously. Lee's face was rapidly turning red as he was lost for words. "That's a pretty shade of red your turning." George was just teasing now, but it was fun to see him blush, it was so damn adorable.
George saw a tiny smile at the corner of Lee's mouth. "Yes, it count if it's outside the picture, I didn't follow the rules either." Lee answered, handing George his bag and his change back. George noticed when he took the notes, he could feel an index card between them. Before he left, he decided to turn it up a notch and wink at the blushing boy before walking out.
He was automatically greeted by Fred and Kiki. "Did you get his number?" Fred asked immediately. "You were in there for awhile, mate." Kiki added. George took the index card out from between the two notes.
520-633-1729 ❤️ XoXo
"Yes!" George exclaimed happily. "It says something on the back, too." Fred noticed. George flipped the card over.
I couldn't think of anything flirty or romantic to say, so sorry bout the unoriginal "xoxo" thing.
George laughed. "Yessss, I'm so glad I came along." George smiled one more time at the number. "Tooold youuuu." Kiki bragged.
