Paris, the city of the Effiel Tower and so much possibility.
The alarm clock rang it's familiar beeping signaling 6 AM. Megan woke up from her sleep and started get ready for her first day of school. A brand new school year, a lot could happen. Megan put on her familiar red jacket, black leggings and brown boots with white fur on the trim. She had a quick breakfast before leaving, her parents working early mornings and later nights, only ever getting to see her if they happen to find her awake once they got home.
She had medium length brown hair with purple ends, a round face, brown eyes and purple rimmed glasses. As she put her backpack on she didn't think it would be long until she would hear the call of her friend.
"Megan!" Her friend, Gabby, called with excitement. Gabby had a short hair cut, blonde bangs and black in the back. Looking like the PTA mom named Karen. Black rimmed glasses, brown skin, a white off the shoulder sweater, black shorts, white knee high stockings and black flats. Ever since the two were little they always walked to school together, it was just one of those friend things they always did.
"Nice haircut." Megan said getting down the steps of the front porch as the two started to walk together.
"It looks bad." She said trying to hide the haircut with her hands.
"It's different, but I like it." She stated. "Too bad we didn't get put into the same class."
"Yeah... but there's always after school and everything."
They came to a crosswalk. Mid way crossing the street was an old man with a red and white Hawaiian shirt and a cane. A car suddenly came speeding down the street. The girls looked frightened for the old man, without hesitation both of them grabbed the man and pulled him to safety on the sidewalk while the car went by.
"Are you alright?" Megan asked worried.
"That was a close one." Gabby said.
"Thank you two girls." He thanked.
"Would you like any help going anywhere?" Gabby asked.
"No, no, thank you girls. Don't you two have school?" He noticed their backpacks.
"Yes but it wouldn't be any trouble." Megan insisted.
"Again thank you but I don't need any help. Go on you two."
"Alright have a nice day!" The girls said to him as they went on their way.
I might have just found them. Not afraid to do the right thing, willing to help, puts others needs above their own. Yes, I found them. The old man thought as he looked at a black hexagonal shaped box with red markings in his hand.
The two girls entered their school and talked a little bit before going to class. Megan went to sit in the back to Ms. Bustier classroom, where she sat last year.
She spent time pulling out her supplies that she would be needing for the day. She could hear Ms. Bustier ask Nino to move to the front of the class and others talking. When she looked up she saw a blue haired girl, Marinette arguing with Chloe. Apparently a new kid, Adrien Agreste would be attending class. Wasn't he that model on billboards? Chloe] was having a fit about Marinette sitting where Adrien would be sitting, she instead sat next to a new girl with brown and red hair with black glasses. They seemed to be friends right away. She could hear her say her name was Alya.
Megan wished she could be like that, talk to just about anyone and instantly be friends. But she was the introverted, shy girl in the back of class. That's what her and Gabby had in common, being shy and introverted. Now that she thought about it, her only friend was Gabby but that didn't bother her, she wouldn't have it any other way.
