the Sea and the Dead: part 1

I ran along the beach towards the forest trying to escape the strange thing that was chasing me. Just an hour ago I was in my cabin and then I was dragged out by some campers, I had been dropped off twelve miles away from camp. Now you may think that this would be ok but oh are you mistaken. I was a child of one of the big three, Poseidon. As I thought of a way to get rid of the thing chasing me I heard my name being called by several people.

  "Y/N!" Said the voice of Annabeth.

  "Y/N, WARE ARE YOU?!?!" Yelled my half brother, Percy.

   Others could be heard like Piper, Jason, Leo, Grover, Hazel, Frank, Rana, Tyson, and Nico.

"SCREEEEECH!"

"AAAAAHHHH!" I screamed as the monster attacked me.

"Y/N!" Yelled two male voices at the same time.

I fell to the ground with a thud and the thing started to scratch at me. Pain swelled in my body and I screamed in pain and in fear.

Soon the sound of something swishing through the air was heard above me. A screech could be herd from the monster. Dust fell upon my back making me flinch. The sound of running feet could be herd and the faint voice of Percy could be herd.

"Put her in the water quick!" His voice was panicked.

Someone picked me up and placed me in the ocean. As I laid there my wounds healed. I groaned in pain and blacked out.
