Fours POV

Tris shook her head slowly not quite understanding. I grabbed the last bag and hung up with Marcus.

Uriah couldn't do this, I mean I do love her. He saw that but she wants him to be there.

She finally understood something, because she straightened her back. Her scowl remained and the look she pulled of every single day.

For a second she reminded me of her old self. The abnegation girl who didn't know of the world's terrors, and didn't know fear.

I had called Marcus and threatened to tell the Erudite about all the years in abnegation hell. He gave me a truck, money, and the sculpture from my bedroom.

Tris squirmed in her seat, after we pulled over at the new house. She gasped at the huge brick sculpture we had to ourselves.

The inside was nice it had soft corners for the baby, no short tables. The upper levels had a bar, screening room, and master bedroom. Tris yawned and I swooped her up.

I slowly carried her up the stairs and she cuddled into me. I set her down on the bed and she began whispering to me.

Huh, Tris? I can't hear you...

I feel HORRIBLE. I'm gonna be a horrible mom.

Why?

Because I actually thought about leaving Uriah myself. And the entire time I was talking with you, he never once entered my mind.

Tris, that only helps you. I mean he didn't want to be the father but I DO.

I can't let you be the father.

I sit on the edge of the bed, heartbroken. My look questions her.

I mean look at us Four we've never even dated. I was supposed to get married before I had a baby.

I look her dead in the eye and finally come to a conclusion.

I'll marry you...
