antisepticeye kneeled down, resting his green towel on the burning beach sand. the underside of his foot felt as if it were pressing against hungry acid, eating away at his flesh. with a twisted scowl, the boy with a gloomy vibe made a break for the water, heels kicking up at the surface of the shallow water. "dammit!" he seethed through gritted teeth as pointed stones jabbed at his toes. as the green-headed boy splashed into a deeper zone, a groan of relief rolled off his tongue.
"feel better, anti?" rumbled an abrupt, husky voice, one so familiar it sent clattering chills rumbling down his spine. "dark!" antisepticeye yelped awkwardly, wading around in the small waves to see his friends dreamy, soulless ebony eyes burning holes through him. his heart ached with longing as he peered up through short lashes at the more masculine-figured male.
"much better." antisepticeye breathed, almost lost for words as his dilated pupils rested on him. a sly smirk met darkiplier's tanned lips, the struggle to sound casual in the other boy's voice quite distinct, was he so dashing he stole antisepticeye's breath away?
darkiplier knew antisepticeye had feelings for him, strong feelings indeed. the green-headed boy made it surprisingly obvious, always thoughtfully gushing about him as their gaze's met contact.
"well, as we coincidentally found each other here.." darkiplier drawled carefully, hand dunking under water and lacing its fingers slowly with antisepticeye's. it appeared to be a romantic gesture the way he preformed it, definitely not a quick, friendly one. "we should take this swim together, right?"
crimson had dusted across the irish boys cheeks, the deep voice that soared gracefully into his ears making him fall head over heels for dark. "of course!" he agreed, a bit too quickly after the question was asked. he glanced up, his cheeks still tinted with red. "come on then!" he proceeded to say a few moments later and ran ahead, his chin gliding along the surface as he raced forwards as quickly as he could through the water.
darkiplier rolled his ebony coloured irises as he was dragged forwards behind antisepticeye, who abruptly stopped. "alright, i wanted to test something out!" antisepticeye seemingly purred, cockiness glinting in his green gaze. "be my guest." the black-headed man encouraged, his grip drifting apart from anti's.
"let's see who can hold their breath the longest!" antisepticey smirked, instantly squeezing his dark green irises shut. "sure thing." darkiplier agreed, a smile twitching at the corner of his lips at the cockiness anti was expressing. instead of closing his ebony black oculars as both heads dunked under at the count of three, darkiplier kept his lids slitted, gazing at anti with interested eyes. wading forwards, he abruptly pressed his wet lips against antisepticeye's, and as his lungs wheezed for air he resurfaced, as well as a spluttering anti.
"dude! what they hell was—" he was cut off as hungry lips immediately pressed against his own. the loving gesture lasted ten seconds before darkiplier pulled away. "i know you like me, anti. and i love you. i couldn't keep it in any longer." the shirtless man breathed, chuckling huskily at anti's astonished face. "how?" antisepticeye demanded, knitting his brows in frustration that darkiplier had known his bottled up secret. "it was obvious." dark chuckled deeply, running a finger through his soaked, ebony black hair.
anti sighed, but a genuine smirk curved onto his flustered face. "does that mean—"
