This is... the cute guy from dad's work. I stare at him with disbelief. He walks towards me with the same worried face. "Are you okay..." he asks me. "Oh, yes," I reply as I rub my sore wrist. "That guy... he is my cousin. I'm sorry he tends to be an ass," the tall man says. This guy's cousin? "It's alright," I say. "We met this afternoon, right? Sorry about that by the way... It seems like all I bring is trouble for you," he says with an embarrassed laugh. "Oh no, don't worry about it. I'm fine," I say with a shy grin. The tall man is dressed differently. He's wearing a white button-up shirt and a light blue jean jacket, which makes him look like a model. "Is your wrist okay?" he says looking down at it. I look down at my clothes and suddenly feel self-conscious. "Yes, thank you." My black crop top slightly showed my stomach and jeans were ripped to show fishnet leggings. "Uh, I'm Jin... by the way," he says with a smile. Bad Boy by Red Velvet starts playing loudly throughout the club. "Yumi," I say as I slightly blush. This guy is really cute... I look up at his face. His small dark eyes were on me. "Nice to meet you." He holds his hand out at me and I take it. People around us dancing to the loud music. He smiles at me once again, which makes his eyes squint cutely. I feel my heart beat rise a bit and I smile back. "Would you like to get a drink?" he asks me as he lets my hand go. I nod.
As we walk towards the bar I look back at the dance floor to see Ji-ae dancing with one of Mark's handsome friends. I turn around and follow Jin to the empty bar ahead. Jin slows down and walks next to me. Once there Jin pulls a stool out for me. I have a bit of trouble getting up on the tall stool, while Jin sits down with ease. He calls the bartender over and asks me what I would like. "Surprise me," I say. He smiles once again, which makes my heartbeat rise. "Two Tom Collins please." The bartender begins to make our drinks and we watch quietly. I want to say something but can't think of anything to say. My mind is blank. Jin's hands are laying intertwined on the bar, which I notice are slightly feminine, but larger than my own hands. I look up at his hair, which is not as neat as it was earlier that day. His bangs were down to his eyebrows which looked more natural. The bartender lays our drinks on the bar in front of us. We both thank him and take a sip. It was my first time having it. It was delicious. "So, I've never seen you at work before, did you just start working there?" Jin says as he places his drink down. "Oh, no. My father works there as well. I'm in college, but I do work at a library right next to the building." "I see. You do look familiar," he says as he brushes his bangs out of his eye. "Maybe you know my friend, she works in the same building as you. Her names Ji-ae." He scratches his head while he thinks. "Oh! Yes, I know her. That how." "What do you mean?" I ask. "You attended Lisa and Young-Jae's wedding right," he exclaims. "Oh, yeah I did." "I think I saw you there." "What a coincidence. Lisa is one of my friends from high school, so is Ji-ae." "Young-Jae is my high school friend too!" he says with a big smile. We both laugh at the same time. What a coincidence. He was there... and I didn't even see him. We both take another sip of our drinks. I hear one of my favorite songs playing now. "I love this song," I say and take another sip of my Tom Collin. Jin stands up, "Let's dance." My face blushes, "No, it's fine." He insists, "Come on." He grabs my hand and leads me to the dance floor.
