"Do you remember how it started ?"
"Yes remember when I was moving out and needed somewhere to stay."
I was online and stumbled upon someone needing a roommate and the house was relatively nice for only one person living here. The add looked affordable and before I knew I was driving up to a house that was much nicer than the ads and it was gated . I rang the buzzer . "Yes facilities of Dave Franco ." She said . "Hi yes I'm Elyssa I spoke to Mr. Franco on the phone." I said . She rang me through ." I knocked on the door and was greeted by him. "Hi sorry about the whole buzzer thing ." He laughed and shook my hand . "I'm Elyssa ." I said .
"At that time I didn't know that it would lead to this. When I walked in that house I didn't notice how attractive he was I was just trying to find a good room for a good price"
"Hi Elyssa." He simply smiled I thought he was nice and sweet. "Can I ask you about the ad ?" I asked . "Sure ." He nodded his head. "Why does it say hot girls only." I chuckled . "Oh my brother james ." He laughed rubbing the back of his head awkwardly as his face turned red. He led me to the room I would be staying in . It was upstairs . "This house has 3 rooms my room down stairs which is the master then upstairs is the guest room and your room." He said . He opened the door my room has a Giant window there was a joining bathroom like with one door leading from the bathroom to the other room and then the bathroom to my room. "Don't worry when people come over they usually use my bathroom down stairs . I nod my head. "I like it has anyone else called or offered anything ?" I asked . "Um no you're the first and if you want it you can have it ." He said. "Okay then I'll take it." I said . "Okay when can you move in?" He asked eagerly. "I can maybe start moving my stuff this month ." I said . "Sounds Good then guess we're roommates now ." He chuckled. "Yeah Im just going to use the bathroom excuse me ." I said . I looked myself in my soon to be bathroom until I overheard something. "James of course I have a girl roommate . I think that ad thing worked."
"Did he really say that?" She gasped
"Yes but still being naive I thought I miss heard and it was a great house for the price I was paying to stay there." I explained
I exited the bathroom. "Alright bye ." He said. "Okay I'll start moving my things in as soon as possible then?" I said. "Yes and here's your key." He handed me a gold rimmed key. "Oh and also sometimes I'll be home very late but for the most part I'm quite ." He warned me. "It's fine I'm usually not home much often anyway ." I chuckle slightly . We walk down the stairs . "So how old did you say you were?" He asked . "22 ." I answered . He opens the door for me . "So yeah you're free to move in your stuff whenever." He said . "Thank you it was nice meeting you ." I shook his hand.
I went home and couldn't wait to tell my sister. "You're moving in with a guy do you know how messy they are?" She spoke negatively. "Itzel did you not listen to a word I said? Big mansion, 3 huge bedrooms , a view of the city, and only 10 minutes from LA ." I explained . "That's good for the price you're buying it just be careful ." She smiled . "Plus im not going to be home I'm going to be super busy with work and Theo." I added. "Okay ." She said still skeptical.
1 month later
I moved in all of my things and cozied up in my bed in my new room. I heard Dave come home with a girl . I could hear them laugh. "Well my room is this way so after you ." He said. I went back downstairs and I was wearing gym shorts and a sports bra. I got some water from the fridge. "Hey !" Dave said . "Hey ." I turned around as his eyes roamed my body. "How was your run ?" He asked . "Haven't gone on it yet ." I chuckled. "Can I ask a favor ?" He asked . "What's up?" I smiled . "It's just Im not into this girl that much and I don't want to you know kick her out. So I was thinking you could help me do it." He explained . "Oh no I'm sorry but i-" "let me explain , I'll kiss her while you pretend like I cheated on you she feels embarrassed and leaves." He explained. "Isn't that like a dickhead move?" I asked . "For me but not for you." He said. I shook my head . "Please I won't bother you anymore ." He said . "Fine. Send me a text when the coast is clear for me to go in and by the way I'm not doing this again." I said . "Okay." He smiled his big toothy smile .
I waited for a few minutes on the couch
The coast is clear - Dave . I open the door . "Babe ?" I said . "It's not what it looks like." He said . "Who the fuck is this." I yelled . "Oh I'm sorry i didn't know-." She said . "Please get the fuck out of my house !" I yelled . "Don't do this." He said. "I'm leaving bye Dave ." She said seductively and slammed the door. I laughed . "Shh ." He smirked . "You're so evil not even an uber?" I laughed . "Nope but I liked your acting skills ." He chuckled . "Thanks it was no problem." I laughed . He stared at me and for a brief second we stared at each other . "I should go." I said . He grabbed my arms. "Why you just got here." He whispered . "I can't Dave I'm sorry ." I said loosening his grip.
