Romitri Meets

                      Chapter 1

  

  There I was closing my locker about to walk to my friends when we met eyes. Lissa told me there was a new russian transfer this year. Sydney said he was cute. She said it so casually that I didn't take it as much because mist guys at school are cute.

  But cute doesn't cut it for him. Gorgeous is a way better word for him.

  Thinking back to what Lissa told me, I was trying to remember his name. Then it popped into my mind.

  "Hey Dimitri!" I called. He turned and looked at me. "Come here."

  He walked toward me. When he was standing in front of me he asked, "What's up? And how do you know my name?"

  "Long story. Did you transfer from Russia?"

  "Yeah."

  "Do you have any siblings here?"

  "Yes. My twin sister, Viktoria, goes here."

  "What's your first class?"

  "Algebra."

  "Do you know where to go? If you don't I can show you."

  "You don't have to. I can find it."

  "I have to go that way anyways."

  "Ok. Ladies first."

  "Oh? Manners."

  "My mother's fault."

  "Tell her I said thanks. I like a guy with manners."

  "Will do. So, what's your name?"

  "My name's a secret."

  "I hardly belie e that."

  "It's true, only my friends know my name."

  He faked an astonished look and asked, "I'm not your friend?"

  I laughed and said,"Not until you figure out my name. And not the one teachers or everyone else calls me. My full name."

  "Is that a challenge?"

  "Why, yes it is."

  "Ok. Challenge accepted."

  I smiled at him. It was my real smile and not the smile I used when I flirt with boys for fun. He smiled back.

  I said, "Great. Are you good at math?"

"Terrible."

"I can be your tutor, if you want me to?"

"My sister might be jealous but yeah I'd like that."

"Can I see your schedule?"

"Yeah." He hands it to me, I read it, and handed it back.

I tell him, "Look for Lissa, become her friend and exchange numbers. Then find Sydney and do the same."

"Why?"

"You'll find out later. Here we are." I say as we walk right in front of Mr. Bellisario's classroom door.

  Before we walk in I say, "And tell Lissa and Sydney, Rose said. By the way sit by me in every class."

"Got it."

           Chapter 2

The first math problem Mr. Bellisario gave us was: 5y times 6x plus 7y times 9x plus 15y times 32x. After he wrote the first number I was writing. One minute later I was raising my hand, being called on, and going up to solve the problem on the whiteboard.
