Juliet's POV

"Jay Jay, do you really have to go?" I ask, resting my hand on my large five and a half month belly, filled with our precious little baby boy, Roman.

Jason had just gotten a lead on the Fallen Angels and was insisting on going on this mission.

"Yes, princess. I'll be back for our very special date tonight though, so don't you worry your pretty little head." he says, loading his gun before kissing my lips quickly.

He was pretty excited for this date for some reason. I'm not sure what is so special though since he refused to tell me...

"Okay.. I'll miss you, Jay Jay." I frown, wrapping my arms around his waist and nuzzling my head into his stomach as he stood and I sat on our bed. He plays with my curls and rubs my back, comforting me.

"I will be okay, babygirl. Don't stress. It's not good for you or the baby." he coos.

I couldn't help but feel like something was going to go terribly wrong tonight though.

I nod anyway and he smiles his breathtaking grin, leaning down to peck my lips several times before getting down on his knees, level to my baby bump.

"Okay, Roman. You've got to be a good boy for mommy, okay? Daddy loves you." he whispers before kissing my stomach and standing back up.

His phone buzzes and he looks down at the screen. "I have to go now, princess. I love you." he says, kissing me one last time before walking out of the room.

I waddle behind him fast and stand at the top of the stairs. "I love you too, Jay Jay. Be safe...please." I beg him.

He smiles and nods, blowing me a kiss and walking out the front door where the rest of the gang were.

I wince while straightening my hair as another random stab of pain shoots across my abdomen. This had been happening since about an hour after Jason had left.

I have been ignoring it until now; it has gotten unbearable.

Setting my straightener down, I take a deep breath and begin on my makeup.

I groan loudly as a sudden wave of agony hits me and I jerk, making my mascara smear all down my cheek.

"Mother Clucker.." I growl, taking a makeup wipe and begin cleaning my cheek.

In the middle of this though, I giggle as I feel Roman kick harshly but gasp as water suddenly rushes down my leg.

Pain.

Major pain takes over me, worse than the stabs I had been feeling all day.

I shriek, grabbing my belly with one hand and the nearby counter top with the other.

I go to scream for Jason, but soon realize he is hours away on a mission.

"Oh my god, ow!" I cry, trying my best to make it to my cellphone that was by the bed.

When I reach it, I immediately call Jason, but he doesn't answer. I call him several times, but it was the same result every time.

Seeing he wasn't going to answer any time soon, I try my daddy's phone.

He picks up on the second ring, thank god.

"Hey buttercup, what's up!" he giggles through the phone,

"Daddy, I think I'm having the baby now and Jason's not home!" I screech down the phone. I hear multiple gasps, leading me to believe he had put the phone on speaker.

"We'll be right there, sweetheart, Just hang on!" I hear my mommy scream before the line goes dead.

"Oh I'm not going anywhere." I mumble, clutching my stomach as another harsh contraction rushes through me.

Jason's POV

I wipe the dirt off my clothes as debris goes flying from the last enemy warehouse exploding. The pained screams of the Fallen Angels brought undeniable pleasure to my soul. I finally avenged my little one and our baby.

My evil smirk was forever plastered across my face and I turned to meet my equally as proud gang members.

"We finally did it, McCann." Carter laughs, smacking my shoulder. "We beat those son of a bitches!"

I chuckle as we all head to our vehicle, which was hidden behind a line of trees.

As we climb into the van, I grab my phone which was sitting on the console.

I immediately go into a panic as I see the several missed calls and voice mails from Juliet.

I listen to my voice mail quickly.

"Jay Jay, I need you here! The baby is about to come! I'm in s-so much pain right n-now! Just please hurry!" I hear Juliet's normally childish calm voice turn frantic and serious as the message plays.

My whole world freezes and I go into shock as my phone clatters to the floorboard.

I don't even hear the boys screaming at me.

"McCann, get out of the car! It's rigged with a bom-" Is all I hear before an explosion and pain settles in.

The last thing I think about is Juliet, our baby, and the engagement ring in my pocket that was supposed to go on her finger tonight.

My vision blurs in and out and my ears ring before complete blackness...
