(Y/N)'s Point of View.

Twirling the pen in hand, I couldn't help but think of how boring studying can be without any motivation whatsoever. It was three AM in the midnight, gets me thinking what am I doing with an open book not paying any attention as to whatever I was reading and letting my mind drift off to some pointless wonderland.

A sudden knock on my balcony door delivered an unsuspecting shock throughout my body. My reflexes turning towards the closed door. My heartbeat paced quickly. In fear, I stood up from the chair and walked over to the curtain covered door.

I slid the curtains side to side, only to reveal Cole.

Hold on, Cole?

His tall figure stood right outside, dressed in all black like he usually would. He was wearing a black mask, just like a ninja would. Obviously because he IS a ninja.

I opened the door, eyeing him with a judging taste. "Really?"

He pranced his way in, not thinking that I actually had my parents and relatives sound asleep from downstairs. After all they'd all pass out from drinking and feasting after New Year's Eve. I just happened to be that one introverted daughter who chooses to be in her room for the whole night.

He made himself comfortable, taking off his mask and sitting down ever so comfortably on my bed. "So! What's up?" He smiles.

I closed and locked the balcony door, sliding the curtains back together. "Really now? Why are you here?" I ask in exasperation. There goes another sleepless night with this idiot.

"Just thought I'd pay a quick visit, nothing too bad about that right (Y/N)?" He looks at me with this vibe of which I can't really decipher. He sure is kind of mysterious.

Mysterious enough to make me like him, somewhat.

But I won't deny.

I sat on the bed along with him, "well, nothing too bad about it but jeez Cole! At least don't come uninvited," I adviced with a sigh.

Cole chuckles, "I'm sure your parents won't mind," he assumes.

"Yeah right." I roll my eyes at him.

"Remember that time your parents gave me a spare key to the house and told me to feel at home? That's how much they consider me as family," he reminds me. Ah right, nevermind. "Would be much better if it I really did become part of the family," he added.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked curiously, not hesitating to look him in the eye.

Cole managed to avoid eye contact for a good second or two before staring back at mines. "You know, us."

Oh, right.

"Hold on, us? Doesn't that seem a bit far fetched? I mean—" I was starting to get hyper at this point, I hoped I didn't slur my words the moment I started speaking.

"Far fetched? I don't think so," Cole cut me off, "but if you'd like to think of it that way..." his words trailed off as he grew closer to my face.

I knew where this was going of course, I'd seem like an idiot if I pretended I didn't know what was to happen.

"I think that'd seem exciting too." With that, our lips were an inch apart. I took one more glance at Cole's desperate lips before ours completely touched. The softness of our lips complemented each other, both moving in sync.
