My Friend Ocean
I have a special friend,
He's been so good to me,
he hides my tears and helps me face fears,
My best friend is the sea.
He helps me learn to swim,
and teaches me important things,
that if you are strong, nothing will go wrong,
at that I must spread my wings.
he shows me underwater life,
from a fishes point of view,
from the birds of the sea, to the little anemone,
That I want to be a fish too.
I wished and dreamed apon a star,
to be part of the ocean too,
a mermaid you see, I wished to be,
and become someone new.
One night I went down to the beach,
A full moon in the sky,
I jumped in the water, became the ocean's daughter,
and to my old life I said goodbye.
So now I swim the seven seas
where I was meant to be
