My face looks confused but inside I was thinking oh no please don't tell me it's that one secret of mine and then I took a deep breath and looked at my boss.
He said "the secret is the fact you have a very nice voice when singing but you don't sing normally like other girls do...RIGHT."
I took a big gulp and felt something in the pit of my stomach and replied saying " yes I sing like a guy but please don't tell anyone" I almost started to cry but I held the tears and sweat in.
The boss replied " Oh I plan too and you will do what I say unless you want the whole world to find out"
" But boss when did you find out" I asked curiously.
He says in a cruel way " yesterday"
* YESTERDAY*
My phone started ringing I let it ring for a while and after time passed I grab my phone and see 10 missed calls from Meridian and 2 text messages from her. The message says " are you coming to church" The other message says " we are starting this section now" ten minutes ago
I quickly jump out of bed and I go to the bathroom and gets ready. Then after being dressed with a t shirt and jeans I went downstairs and made myself two fried eggs with bacon and quickly eat my breakfast.
After I got out of the house it was 18 minutes ago since the text was sent so I run to my car and put Bts songs from the album wings. As I'm driving I tap my fingers at the steering wheel to the rhythm of the song.
When I get to church I get out of my car and make a run to get inside and as I enter the room I go as quiet as I can go to not disturb the priest.
As I was walking trying to get to my seat that my friend Meridian saved I stumbled upon something and fell onto someone's lap as I tried to get up without embarrassing myself more. The person pushed me off and told me to by more careful and watch where I was going and that his suit was nearly ruined because of my careless act.
When I found my balance I got up and briefly bowed to the person I fell on signaling that I was sorry for any inconveniences.
I continue walking making my way towards Meridian. When I get to the seat that she saved for me I sit down and Meridian looks at me with a thinking face that read what happened this morning why weren't you here.
I get close to Meridian and wisper in her ear "I'll tell you later and I'm sorry for being late"
After church was over I sit there thinking about the project that I must work with Arnold rolling my eyes in disgust. I then get up and start walking out with Meridian.
When I went to the outside court I went to get lunch and there was potato salad, macaroni and cheese, and chicken. There was also flan, brownies, and oatmeal cookies as desserts.
I went and got in line to get food and I served myself chicken and macaroni and cheese and went to take a seat. I saved a seat for Meridian and called her over to eat.
We talked for 1 hour about life and how it's going we even made plans for later in the day.
Meridian said "we should go to a karaoke place so we can sing."
I replied "I don't exactly like to sing would you mind if instead we go to the movies and see Aquaman or Second act unless you want to
go to an arcade."
Meridian rolled her eyes while saying " I'm pretty sure you don't sing bad also why do you always not want to go sing at a karaoke place with a machine."
I tell her " I do like to sing and I'm not good at singing but I'll always support your decision to become a singer."
Then after we finished making plans I went to the car and went home after church and lunch. I spend two hours waiting for the video call from Arnold then finally he calls me so we can get this project done.
We spend about 10 hours working on the project then I say goodbye and I'll see you tomorrow to Arnold. I turn on the TV and watch a k drama movie for an hour before getting up from the dirty couch and turn off the TV.
Then I head out to go to the arcade to join Meridian and when I get there I look for her but can't find her anywhere. I wait for 30 minutes after the time we are supposed to meet. When suddenly I get a call from an unknown number at first I'm a little bit skeptical about answeing the call.
But then decide to pick up the call then I hear a voice ask me if I'm related to Meridian. I reply with " who are you and how do you know Meridian."
The voice says " look are you related to her or not?"
I answer " well not by blood but I'm her friend."
The voice says "your friend got in serious trouble."
I take a deep breath and say " how is she in trouble."
