The night was the day most feared when it rolled around once a year, it was October 31st, but Halloween in Domino city was not the event you all know and love, no, every year on October 31st was an event known as the purge. This was the day where all the psychos in the city could go wild and do whatever they wanted and there would be no consiquences for any actions taken that day no matter how extreme. 

Yami Yugi was one of these said people that loved to take place in the purge and savoured every moment that he got, taking every chance to release all of his built up anger that was never allowed to be released in such a way on any other day of the year other than this particular day. his lover Yugi Muto was of course always worried about Yami on this day, and he always saw what Yami was capable of as he didn't dare be alone when there was a very real chance that he could be killed by someone if his psychotic lover wasn't always by his side to protect him.

''Yami... are you sure we have to go out again tonight? Its the same every single year we leave the house and you become a full fledged murderer and criminal I-'' Yugi had started to once again try to plead and convince his boyfriend to not do what he did every year, however he stopped himself short when he saw Yami pick up his favourite blade and slowly turn to Yugi. Yami had never actively went after Yugi, sure every now and then he would cut a little of Yugi's skin but never enough to scare his lover.

''Yugi don't try to tear me away from this, its who I am and its the day I live for every single year its the only reason I put up with those boring fucking classes every day of the year just so I can eventually teach the people who harass us both a lesson with nothing backfiring onto me." Yami said sharpening his blade then turning and pulling Yugi into a rough yet passionate kiss.

Yugi nodded after they pulled away as they left the house, him staying close to Yami at all times. However this night even that wasn't enough as Bakura grabbed Yugi pulling him away from Yami. "Yami! Help me!!" Yugi cried as the albino was trying to steal a kiss, key word.. trying.

Within seconds he was dead on the floor blood splattered everywhere covering not only the dark street in the dark crimson liquid but also, both Yami and Yugi themselves.

Yugi was back in his arms and had been pinned to a nearby brick wall before Yugi knew what was happening. His neck was bitten, slight blood dripped down his neck and Yugi whimpered, however this was Yami's mark to protect his little Panda bear.

"You are mine no one will take you away from me and survive to tell the tale" Yami hissed then slamming their lips together once more. Yugi purred a kissed back smiling he may be in love with a psycho but at least that psycho loved him back just as much.
