Dr. Gomez: Yes, sir.
Mr. Castle: I mean, have you checked her data? Her previous inquiries? There must be another explanation for—
Dr. Gomez: Yes, yes, I've checked. Nothing stands out.
Mr. Castle: Nothing?
Dr. Gomez: I've gone through the alerts from her IRM. It never diagnosed any problems with the internal systems or the transmission pathway. Still connected too. Routers came back clean.
Mr. Castle: Which doesn't rule out early onset Spontaneous Expansion Syn—
Dr. Gomez: It wasn't SES either.
Mr. Castle: How do you know?
Dr. Gomez: The medical coroner's office performed an autopsy. We've managed to retrieve the... the report. It says... actually, hold on.

Mr. Castle: Teresa?
Dr. Gomez: I'm getting the report.
Mr. Castle: Luke must be a life saver.
Dr. Gomez: Yep.
Dr. Gomez: Here it is. I'm gonna send it over to you.
Mr. Castle: Got it.
Mr. Castle: Okay, it says that the M.E preformed a... cranial excavation. But they didn't find any signs of fusions... or intrusion... or even supplementation. Is this correct?
Dr. Gomez: Yes, sir, I've reviewed the photographs. They were pretty clear.
Mr. Castle: So, it wasn't SES.
Dr. Gomez: The mother was perfectly healthy.

Dr. Gomez: The chip wasn't fine.
Mr. Castle: What do you mean?
Dr. Gomez: Read.
Mr. Castle: Okay. But I don't see how—
Mr. Castle: Oh.
Mr. Castle: Oh, Jesus.
Dr. Gomez: I know.
Mr. Castle: Teresa... Teresa, am I reading this right?
Dr. Gomez: Yes sir.
Dr. Gomez: The wires weren't fusing with the temporal lobe or the insular cortex.
Mr. Castle: They had been fried.
