August 7 was the day my life got even more harder. All these changes, hurt but I hide my pain, I don't need mother noticing my soft side... I don't need her "pity". The movers finished moving their belongings and left. Finally. They left now I can talk to her... I walk over and say," Hey mom..the movers finished... now you can explain to me why we're here in this cold, cold house". She gave me the most cautious look. She wants me to do something for her.... I already know. Why else would we be in CANADA...she hates the cold... HELLO!!!! "Sorry i was lost in my own thought!" I said. " You have to listen very carefully my dear, I have a job for you.., I'm sending you to my old high school.. I had some unfinished business I left behind and I simply can not continue our journey without....it. But I don't have time to go through all the explanations, you my darling have to start high school!" Mother said. I sigh. I have so many questions to ask, "But, today isn't the first day. It's too early in August and what about—" Mother interrupted,"Don't worry about it ! You overthink too much...but that's what makes you more useful. I'm enrolling you today, then we will know what to do after." She walked away whispering under her breath. 30 mins later we go over to Forest Heights Collegiate Institute, I'm nervous- but not because I'm new, but if someone finds out the real reason I'm here..- we walk through the entrance and the enrollment is all figured out. We spend the rest of the day at Sunrise Shopping Centre. As we head back home, one thought would never leave my head why didn't my father come? Why did I specially have to go with her and be involved in her schemes?There was only a week left til' school starts and I'm still trying to figure out what 'unfinished business' my mother had left. My room was almost finished, I explore the house and find my mom down in the basement... she was, decorating her.. her shrine. I ran back upstairs and lay down on my bed. A week later.
