[Mina's POV]

Right after lesson, I saw Chaeyoung exiting the class.

I was about to follow him but Jeongyeon stopped me.

"Babe, let's hang out." Jeongyeon said.

"Sorry but I got something to attend to." I said and he pouted.

"I promise, I will make up to you." I said and he sighed.

He then nodded and I pecked his lips.

"Bye." I said.

"Bye, take care." He said and I left the classroom.

I went to the rooftop and look up.

"Chaeyoung? Are you there?" I asked and his head popped out.

"Mina? Why are you here? I thought you will be with Jeongyeon?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Well, I thought that you might be coming here to clean up so I'm here." I said and climbed up.

I then saw a garbage bag at the side while the tables and chairs are stacked at the side.

"What can I do to help?" I asked.

"Well, just help to throw the useless things away in that garbage bag." Chaeyoung said and I nodded.

He stacked the tables and the chairs aside and after that, we rest at the side.

He look at the sky while breathing in and out rhythmically.

I decided to ask him about his heart.

"Chaeyoung-ah, is there anything wrong with your heart?" I asked.

He looked down and sighed.

"I... You don't have to know." He said.

"Tell me, Chaeyoung-ah... Since you want to be friends with me, tell me everything about you." I said and he sighed once again.

"Mina, you really don't have to know." He said and I grabbed his shoulder.

"Tell. Me." I said and he avoided my eyes.

"I... I have... h-heart disease." He said and looked down.

I patted his shoulder and he look at me.

"Then did you receive any treatment? Or surgery?" I asked.

"I was put on the waiting list. Up until now, there's still no suitable heart for me." Chaeyoung said.

"There's one time, the doctor told me that there's suitable heart for me. But then, when I saw a little girl walking alone at the park in the hospital, she told me that she needs a heart transplant too. I then give up the chance of the heart transplant surgery and she successfully survived." Chaeyoung said and lightly smile when he's talking.

"When did you have this heart disease?" I asked.

"When I was young about 4 years old. My heart suddenly pains a lot and my parents immediately sent me to the hospital. The doctor then did a check up on my heart and he realize a small hole at my heart." Chaeyoung said.

"He told my parents that I needed a heart transplant surgery and I was put on the waiting list. And as the year goes by, the hole starts to get bigger. And until now, there's still no suitable heart for me." Chaeyoung said and sighed.

"It's okay... There will definitely have a suitable heart for you." I said and he smiled.

"Hope so..." He said.

From that day onwards, I get closer with Chaeyoung and I got to admit that I have a little feelings for him.

I know I'm cheating on Jeongyeon but I can't help it.

I've seen his soft side and he's quite a active and bubbly person despite his heart condition.

I love Jeongyeon but I like him.

Chaeyoung and I have got closer than before and I slowly opened up my feelings to him.

I have show hints of me liking him but he's so stupidly dense and doesn't even get the hints.

"Mina-ya..." He called and I looked at him.

"Do you plan to be with Jeongyeon forever?" He asked and I remained silence.

"Why did you ask?" I asked.

"Nothing, just want to know." He said.

We then sat down at the edge and we look at the sky.

After Chaeyoung finished his sandwich, he took out his meds and take it.

He swallow it along with the water and kept his meds.

"My mum told me that my dad wants to send me overseas for treatment." Chaeyoung said.

"Really?" I asked, feeling a bit sad that he is about to leave.

"But I won't leave here. Unless, there's some progress in US than in Korea." He said.

I smiled to him and he smiled back.

"We should go back now. I'm scared that your boyfriend might beat me up for stealing you away." He said and we chuckled.

We then took our things and went back to class.

Well, honestly speaking, I can feel that Momo likes Jeongyeon and Jeongyeon likes Momo but he refused to admit it.

"Jeongyeon-ah, can we talk?" I asked and he nodded.

We then went to the garden and I sat down on the bench.

"What's wrong, babe?" He asked.

"Let's break up." I said and he froze.

"Why?" He asked.

"I know you like Momo. Just that you don't admit it." I said.

"No, Mina-ya. I don't like her. I love you." He said.

"Jeongyeon-ah, all of us can tell that from your eyes, we can see that you actually like Momo. Just that you keep denying." He said and looked down.

"Don't deny your true feelings because of me. I let you go so as you won't keep suffering because you are together with me. I don't want to be the reason that stops you from pursuing your happiness." I said.

"Go to her, confess to her and woo her." I said and he looked at me.

He smiled to me and I smiled back.

"Thanks Mina-ya." He said and we hugged each other.

After that, he sped off and find Momo.

I then went back to the class and saw Chaeyoung sleeping.

But there's something weird.

He's clenching onto his chest.

I went to him and hold his hand.

"Chaeyoung-ah, are you okay?" I asked and he look up.

He panted heavily while clenching onto his chest.

"I'll bring you to the clinic." I said and hold his arm.

We walked slowly to the clinic and the nurse helps to check on him.

"He can rest here. After a while, he'll be fine." The nurse said and I thanked her.

I went to Chaeyoung and he smiled weakly to me.

My heart aches seeing him so weak like this.

"Rest here first okay? After a while, we will go back to class." I said and he nodded slightly.

I hold his hand tightly and he squeezed my hand.

He closed his eyes and rest while I sat down beside him and watch over him.
