"What are the chances of me going nuts Alex," Asked Miguel seeing as he was still nervous.
"Not very. The last one was only the second guy to have gone insane. We're trying to prevent that from happening so hopefully, you won't have to worry, much." Spoke Alex from the back seat of the car where Miguel had asked her to be placed.
"See Miguel, you won't have to worry and to be honest I am more worried for her than you." I retorted while silently making note of that we're which Alex mentioned.
"Why would you be more concerned for her than me!"
"Because I think the car seat may be a tad bit too large. I wouldn't want the small child to get injured if we get into an accident."
"I am going to kill you, Scott," The white-haired girl yelled with a pissed off face.
Miguel asked, "How do you know that you won't go crazy?"
"I don't know, I just got a gut feeling but I wonder if there is going to be any scary or violent material because I can't let this short stack see anything that isn't age appropriate"
"That's enough," Alex spoke as she appeared right next to me.
One moment she was in the back seat and the next she was unbuckled and almost on top of me in the driver's seat. To say she frightened me is an understatement because teleportation is not something normal people do. I have learned though, Alex is certainly not normal.
"Miguel speak," Alex demanded.
"Scott that is no way to treat your wife," Miguel said in response but it wasn't his voice emanating from his body. I couldn't even tell who's voice it was because there were about three of them speaking in unison
"Alex, what did you do to Miguel?" I asked in a shocked state.
"Oh, nothing bad. I just persuaded him to do what I want. Did you not know that I could do that? I should have told you that, that was a piece of important information."
"No you did-" I said, with a sudden pain shooted up through my entire body.
I crumbled like paper in my seat, barely being able to hold onto the wheel. A gasp escaped my lips as I turned the wheel wildly.
I didn't know why I should, but I just received a gut feeling.
"It feels like I'm dying" I managed to squeeze out.
"What, what is wrong," Alex said with worry present in every syllable.
But as quickly as the pain came it left with no trace. My breathing stabilized, my energy came back, and most of all I wasn't dead. I looked on my rear view mirror to see a car zoom past where we had just been in the intersection.
"Oh my god, if I hadn't turned the wheel like that, we would've been killed." I gasped, still in a little bit of shock.
"Scott I didn't know my jokes could kill you. I should write that you are allergic to comedy in my journal." Alex laughed, nervously.
"Alex, just shut up so I can find a parking spot and whatever you did to Miguel can you undo it," I told her, totally ignoring the pain that was there only a couple seconds ago.
"Of course I can undo it but should I?"
"Alex, do you want to be in a relationship with me?"
"Yes, I would love that." She said, teleporting to the back seat.
I was still in shock because of the multitude of things that just happened. What I really need right now, are some answer. Since I've met Alex or formerly 0013, my life has gone out of control.
