Moving to London

Y/b/f = your best friend

You sit on the train on the way to London. This is it, a new start! You are moving in with your best friend!! It feels weird as you haven't seen the house yet but that's because the person she was meant to be living with bailed on her last minute. She gave you the address and you were on your way. The weather was horrible and rainy but you wouldn't let that dampen your mood! Once you arrive in London you text and call your best friend but she doesn't reply. This was unusual for her as she was always on your phone and she insisted you called her when you got to London!

You arrive at the house completely soaked and ring the doorbell. As the door is opening, without looking up from your phone you exclaim:

"Omg! Why didn't you answer my texts and calls, I was so worried but don't worry, it doesn't matter now."

"Um do I know you?" The man replies. You slowly look up from your phone, to see not your best friend, but YouTuber Joe Sugg looking at you confused.

Flustered, you say "I'm so sorry, I am moving in with my friend today and she sent this address as our new house, I am so sorry to bother you. She hasn't been replying to any of my texts and calls, I'm so sorry again." You feel tears well up in your eyes because you are so embarrassed and you don't know why you have been given his address. You turn to leave but as you do, he gently grabs your arm.

"Hey, why don't you come on in from the rain and see if you can get hold of her?" He kindly says this as he looks at your soaking hair and body.

"Are you sure? I don't want to intrude or anything." You nervously state whilst looking at him still very shocked that you are crying in front of your favourite celebrity.

"Of course, you are absolutely freezing it wouldn't be fair on you."

He helps you in and offers to carry your bags into his living room. You take your shoes off and leave them at the door. You follow him through to the living room and you both sit on the sofa. There is an awkward silence as you both stare at each other. Inside your brain is screaming "YOU ARE IN JOE SUGG's HOUSE!!!!!" You had always been a massive fan of his videos but you are still confused as to why your best friend sent you his address.

"I'll make you a hot chocolate, it will warm you up" he says, breaking the awkward silence between you two.

"Thank you very much for this. My name is y/n. I really appreciate you letting me in, I think I'll try and call my friend again." You introduce yourself politely and dial in your best friends number.

"No problem at all, my name is Joseph but many people call me Joe." You nod, not knowing whether to say you know who he is. He looks so attractive in person!

You call your best friend and it is at voicemail again. You speak saying "hi I am at the address you gave me but it clearly isn't the right one, I don't know why you haven't been answering my calls or texts but please get back to me as soon as you get this. I'm really worried." You nervously say and then hang up.

Joe comes back in with your hot chocolate. "Thank you Joe" you smile at him and he gives you a grin back. You and Joe get to know each other more and more. You subtly mention that you have watched only a few of his videos as you didn't want to scare him off!

A few minutes pass when your phone suddenly rings. "I'm really sorry Joe, I have to take this" you look down and see the contact "my best friend🥰"

"No worries, take your time" he says whilst you get up and leave the room.

You: "where have you been? I've been trying to get hold of you for ages!"

Y/b/f: "oh hi y/n! Having fun at the wrong address I gave you?"

You-"what is this about? Why did you give me the wrong address? I can't believe you knew it was wrong!"

Y/b/f- "look, I never wanted to move in with you. You're so clingy y/n! You have never been my best friend ever since you hooked up with my boyfriend."

You- "oh come on! How many times do I have to say it was HIM that made the move on me and you even said that you forgave me and I wanted to move in to help YOU. When your 'friend' bailed on you I was the first person to say I'd help. I can't believe you've done this"

Y/b/f- "you didn't give me chance to say no about you moving in with me! I never wanted it. I said I forgave you because I felt sorry for you, no one has ever loved you. Now don't call me again and have fun by yourself. You sold your house didn't you? Have fun finding a new one."

She hung up and a tear rolled down your cheek. You have nowhere to go. You are screwed. You wipe your tears away and turn round to go back to the living room when you notice Joe at the doorway leaning against the frame. He has a sad expression on his face. He must have heard everything.

"You ok?" He looks you in the eyes and you just break down in tears and run into his arms to hug him.

You say, struggling through the tears,  "I have nowhere else to go, I have no one else. I thought she was my friend. I have nowhere to go and no one to depend on"

He slowly pulls away from your hug, holds your shoulders and says "Look, it might not be much, but you can stay here for as long as you like. I have a roommate, Byron. He won't mind at all. I can't let you go out alone, not with nowhere to go, so stay with me?" He looks me straight in the eyes whilst saying this.

You whisper "Joe you can't do this, you've been too kind already. I'll find a way out of this mess." You force a smile and say "thank you for everything Joe"

As you're about to open the door, he runs from the hall and blocks the doorway. He sternly says "no y/n you're staying here. Now please, come back in to the living room." You find yourself nod at what he says following him.

A few months later

It was exactly 3 months ago today when you moved to London to have your ex best friend betray you. It ended up being the best day of your life as you ended up moving in with Joe Sugg and his roommate Byron Langley.

You wake up to see Joe next to you asleep. After spending so much time with him, you developed feeling for him and he felt exactly the same. You started dating each other but haven't told his fans yet. You have been in a few of his videos but have only been called his friend. You try to get out of his bed but end up tripping over and landing with a crash on the floor. You see his eyes slowly open and he says "did you have a nice trip?" In his sexy morning voice and a smirk appears on his face. "Shut up Joe!" You giggle.

He asks "do you know why this day is going to be so special?"

You say "well it's been 3 months today since I've moved in with you."

"That's right! And I've been thinking that it would be perfect to film a Sugg Sunday video announcing you are my girlfriend!" He exclaimed.

You were so excited that you leaped on the bed and kissed him on the lips!
