Wills Feelings (Remake)

Chapter 1

"These three days are going to be hell without you Sarah." Molly frowned slightly, Calypso's reins gripped in her hand. Sarah sighed.

"Someone has to stay behind to help Will. Especially since Bailey's parents are leaving as well." Molly shook her head knowing there's no arguing with Sarah. Aztec's neighing is heard in the stables along with Bailey shouting. "I should probably check it out." Smiling, she jogged towards the stable, before peering her head round the corner. Aztec was refusing to come out of his stable, probably sensing the anxiety in the air. Sarah walked over, a kind glint in her eyes.

"Woah there Aztec." Bailey stood still watching, a small smirk forming. Sarah gently took the reins and stroked Aztec on his muzzle. He lowered his head and nickered softly. Sarah smiled and calmly led him out of the stable, with Bailey right next to her.

"We could use you at the competition in case one of the horses starts freaking out." He said and Sarah smiled shaking her head.

"You can handle them. I just felt like I needed to say goodbye to Aztec." She said turning to the stallion and scratching his neck.

"I can't believe my horse is getting more attention than me." Sarah laughed and hugged Bailey.

"No he's not. He's just the first one to get attention. Now here you go." she passed the reins over to Bailey," you should probably get him in the trailer before they leave without you." Bailey smiled, taking the reins.

"My parents are driving. I don't think they'd forget me." His smile faded, "at least I hope not. C'mon Aztec!" Bailey started running with Aztec trotting behind and snorting. Sarah smiled and turned round to look at her own horse, Scarlet. She neighed for the other horses but only received a reply from Jimber who was a few stables away.

"I'm sorry girl, but I couldn't leave Will alone. There's too much work to be done. And also it would be nice to rest for a bit. Especially after those training sessions." Scarlet nickered softly with a sad expression in her eyes. Sarah sighed and walked over. She stroked Scarlett's muzzle and smiled. "I promise I'm going to reward you with as many treats as possible."

"Make sure you don't give her too much. I don't want to deal with a horse on a sugar high." A male voice joined in. Sarah turned round and smiled, meeting glowing blue eyes.

"I'll try." He smiled. He had a saddle in his arms and a bridle slumped over his shoulder.

"Anyway Jimber and I were planning to go out on a hack alone. But since you're staying as well..." He shifted his weight from one leg to another. "Maybe you'd like to come?"

"I'd love to. And it would give Scarlet some exercise for today." Sarah glanced back at her mare who started pawing at the door.

"Great. See you in a bit." He winked and made his way over to Jimber. Sarah started making her way over to the tack room when her mind started to wander.

Will never winks. What the fuck?

It was just a spur of the moment kind of thing. It's fine. She grabbed the tack before speed walking back to the stables, eager to get riding.

By the time she entered the stables, Will had Jimber all tacked up and was just mounting up. Sarah jogged over to Scarlett's stable, throwing open the door and plopping the tack on it.

"Woah relax there. I'll wait." She sighed in relief and slowed down reaching for the bridle.

"I don't want to keep you waiting for long." She slipped the bridle on with ease and reached for the pad, throwing it onto Scarlett's back effortlessly before turning round for the saddle.

"If you rush you might put something on incorrectly." She nodded and threw the saddle over, looking at Will before checking if everything was in place.

"I know." She tightened the girth and checked all the straps before leading Scarlett out of the stable and mounting her. "Lead the way."

Yes. The remake is finally here. Well at least the first chapter. I will try to keep it close to the story I started but I might change some things. Anyway I still listen to your requests and I might implement them in the story sooner or later so feel free to comment them. One more thing. How would you guys feel if this story was a more interactive kind of story? As in at the end of a chapter I might ask you guys what you'd prefer to see in the next chapter or whatever and you can decide? I don't know. I'll think about it.
