Are you kidding me it's already 6:20 am! I mentally refused to get up even before the sun raised. "Honey, your dad made some french toast please hurry downstairs!" "OKAY MOM ILL HURRY!" I yelled back. I unwilling got up from my warm soft bed and headed towards the bathroom to get ready. While I was brushing my teeth many thoughts were going through my head. Within these 24 hours, I was able to talk to my crush as well as setting up a "sorta-date" during lunch today. Just thinking about the idea of him and I talking and sharing stories made me have butterflies flying already in my stomach. I finished up and headed downstairs to meet my parents for breakfast. "How many do you want honey?" dad asked while getting a plate out. "Just want at least 2 for now," I said as taking the seat nearest to the window. Today seemed like a gloomy day where you want to stay at home and just chill next to the fireplace. This weather would always make me feel this way and I wonder if this will ruin the "lunch date" I have with (C/N). "Hey sweetie what's up with you today? Is there something bothering you at school?" mom asked as she grabbed a cup of coffee for me. "yeah I'm alright just thinking about some word problems from math and I'm just rethinking my answers that's all..." I murmured out hoping that dad would pass me the plate of food to distract mom from asking any more questions. " You know that you can tell me or your mom about anything you know that right honey?" dad said placing the plate down and taking the seat across from me. " I know that dad and I appreciate you guys for always being here for me, but really all that is bothering me is math," I said just sticking a huge chunk of french toast in my mouth to stop myself from slipping up and saying something about (C/N). They both stared at me and were ready to ask more questions when the anime gods blessed me AGAIN and (BFF) sent me a message.
" Hey (Y/N), hurry up I'm waiting already outside! It looks like its going to rain at any moment. " - (💫BFF💫)
" Alright, I'm going just got caught up with mom and dad questioning me about my mood." - (Y/N)
" Okay Okay just HURRY I look dam beautiful today and I don't want to be caught in the rain if it does rain!" - ( 💫BFF 💫)
I took that as a cue for me to leave and book it to the front before they could stop me again. When I got out she was already walking away making jog up to her to catch up. " Hey sorry it took me so long to come out, I was being questioned by mom and dad," I said trying to catch my breath. " Its fine but what did you tell them, DID YOU TELL THEM ABOUT (C/N)!!" (BFF) squeaked at me. All I did was shake my head just wondering why did ever tell her about my crush on (C/N). " Stop saying that so loud! Just hurry up we're going to be late!" was all I could say before rushing to school.
When we got there we headed towards the breakfast bar cause I didn't finish my french toast or even my coffee that dad made. "So did you get to text (C/N) yesterday? Did you confidence to him? JUST TELL ME ALREADY!" (BFF) shook my shoulders so dramatically. " Okay okay just let me at least get some food first then we could talk," I said grabbing a tray. All she did was nod and get a tray as well. We went to sit on our table to talk about what happened yesterday. From afar I could see (C/N) talking to his friends and just having a good time talking to them. Gusse he felt me staring at him and he looked at my way. (C/N) shoot me one of his most famous smiles, (that smile would always make my heart flutter). I was so amazed by his smile that I didn't notice (Bff) was talking to me. "... and that's how I got a pet turtle... HEY are you even listening to me? " she huffed out. " Sorry I was just umm... looking at the new benches YEAH the new benches... " was all I could say without blowing my cover. " What ever you say (Y/n) I just want to EAT so if you don't mind can we sit already instead of gawking at (C/n).
