Drenched in the sweet sweat,
From the love we made the entire night,
Upon me the sun rays shine, and then it dawned,
With hundred million thoughts in my head, I lay awake,
Alongside me, the empty part of the bed, putting me at stake, gave my heart a small quake,
Overtaken by emotions,
The tears peeping through my eyes,
Travel down my cheeks,
Then I realized,
I walked and walked in the quest
To reach the top of your list,
Only to realize that it was a wave,
Which goes up and comes crashing down creating a pave,
Neither a straight line, nor a staircase,
That always takes me to the right place.
You -a mystery like the Bermuda triangle,
Harmful to me in every possible angle,
Every night soaring high,
Looking at the sky,
Your constellation Pisces,
Giving back memories of all the times you broke my heart into minute pieces,
How many times I may try to escape,
You'll always be the one to wear the 'Cape',
Serendipity- I thought,
"No! No! Misfortune"- fate fought.
By the love blinded, broken, bruised,
To the love crucified,
What you had for me was- "Love", I said,
"Lust", My conscience shouted,
Marriages are made in heaven, they said,
With no clue of heaven and here.
I get up from the bed, my heart in rage
Reach the book on the table, tore a page,
Penned something,
Packed my things and left everything,
Forever,
And the note said,
"I am leaving, not because I want to, but because I love you and I don't want anything or anyone in this world to mess with that feeling even if that person is you.
Everyone may say, We are not right for each other. But, In love, there is no right or wrong, there's only the word 'each other'.
Come searching for me only when you are ready to face the truth, ready for commitments, ready to see me, the 'me', ready for a never ending adventure.
When you're ready for 'us'. Come to me, then. I'll be waiting for you with forgiveness in my eyes and love in my heart.
