"Stars can't shine without darkness"-D.H. sidebottom

Present day:
I walked out of school with my suspension paper, I was probably gonna get in trouble with my dad and what bothers me more is that he probably doesn't even care. Walking the streets to get to my small but comfortable " Dance studio", I received a call, I looked at the name of the person who was calling me and answered the call knowing what was probably coming. "Jung min sun, are you stupid, do you think this is a joke I am tired of you getting suspended" I heard my dad yelling from the other line. "Dad, it was not my fault that girl keeps bothering me, I got mad" I said calmly hoping he would understand and leave me alone. "Stop using excuses, you probably started everything with your stupid anger issues" My dad said screaming once more. "I will do better dad, I promise" I said calmly. "I don't understand why I keep trying to understand you, you probably don't even care about your grades, you are never gonna have a good future with your stupid dancing skills, you don't deserve to have me as your father" He screamed again but now even more mad, I couldn't take it anymore. "How could you say that to your own daughter, mom would never have said that to me, you are a cruel human being and deserve to go to hell" I said while screaming and then hanging up. I looked around and saw people looking at me,  I guess I said it too loud, I apologized and started walking again. I noticed the sky was getting darker and it was only 7, my dad was probably drunk at this hour so I decided to go sleep at the "studio", I slowly entered the place, I quickly felt safer and better, I paused and closed my eyes taking in the smell. I went to see if I had something to eat and no,  I guess I forgot to buy some food, I'll just eat tomorrow. I felt my stomach growl but I ignored it and sat on my very comfortable chair, I looked out the window close to me and I could already see the stars. Beautiful glowing stars, I smiled at the thought of stars, me and mom would always watch the stars at night and would make a wish.

FLASHBACK~

"Look mom is so pretty" I said pointing out the window to one particularly big glowing star. "Oh honey, is so beautiful you should make a wish" She said while smiling at me. I quickly closed my eyes and thought of my wish. When I was done I opened my eyes again looking at the star. "Honey what did you wish for" Mom said asking me smiling. "I wished for us to never separate and be together forever" I said smiling and then went to hug her and she gladly responded the hug.

End of flashback~

I felt tears fall down my face, I miss her, I miss her so much, I looked at the biggest star in the sky and closed my eyes wishing, like I would do before. I opened my eyes again and smiled at the beautiful sky. After a while I started crying even more, thinking about everything is just so frustrating, I went to my backpack and took one of my blades looking at it before placing it on my skin, I pressed the blade harder on my skin making me feel more pain as I cried harder and harder. When I finished making cuts all over my wrist I looked at the cuts and thought. 'I am disgusting, people probably find me disgusting, I find myself disgusting'. I quickly pushed the thoughts away, and went in the shower, feeling the hot water hit my body until I felt it hit my cuts, I hissed as I felt the pain. After a while of showering I got out and put my clothes on, I washed my teeth getting ready to go to bed since it was already 12 in the morning. And feel asleep crying to thoughts that probably will never be erased from my mind.

I walked off the plane as I received a call, I quickly picked it up. "Yes?" I said to the person on the phone. "Did you land yet" Said the person on the other line. "Yes" I said while smiling. "Okay meet me at the coffee shop close to the airport" Said the person on the other line as if they were excited.
