Beginning

Yumi's pov
As I neared the Underground, I could hear the music blasting from the speakers inside. When I entered it was exactly how I imagined it, it was like right a huge mosh pit with everyone dancing, jumping, cheering and yelling as the music blared from the speakers.

There were two people standing on the stage having a rap battle with a pile of cash sitting in between them both. The man on the left looked to be in his late 20s while the women on the right didn't seem like she was old enough to be here, much like myself.

When I found an adequate spot to stand without being thrown around, the crowd started cheering again.

"And Rico remains undefeated!" The announcer shouted into the microphone as the crowd cheered.

The women who was supposedly Rico walked to the pile of cash and began to pick her winnings up off the floor.

"Is this even legal?" I thought as she walked back to her side and put the money in a book bag sitting on the ground.

"Would anyone else be bold enough to try and defeat Rico?" The announcer asked as the crowd immediately fell silent.

"Come on! No one?" The announcer asked as the crowd looked around.

"Winner takes all!" Rico shouted holding up her bag filled with money. The crowd began whispering to each other, without any hesitation, I raised my hand.

The people standing around me gasped as everyone's attention turned to me. People hesitantly began moving out of the way to make a path for me to get to the stage. I awkwardly made my way to the stage, ignoring the many pairs of eyes on me.

"Alright! We have Rico vs ...." The announcer trailed off holding the microphone to my mouth.

"Kim" I said as the announcer took the mic back and walked in the middle of the stage.

"We've got a new competitor tonight! Welcome Kim to the stage!" The announcer shouted walking to give Rico the microphone as the crowd cheered. The lights dimmed as the DJ played the beat.

"These little ass kids-"

Yoongi's POV
After going on a trip to the convenience store for some snacks I was walking back to the dorms when I heard the faint sounds of music coming from an alleyway.

"Oh my gosh!" I thought following the music to the underground rapping garage.

When I reached the garage door, I took a deep breath to mentally prepare myself and covered my face a little more before entering.

I opened the door and entered. The place was bigger than what I had expected, all my memories came rushing back to me as I pushed my way through the crowd to find get to the middle of the crowd.

I looked up at the stage to see the two rap battling each other.

The little girl on the left looked no older than 14 years old. She had smooth caramel skin with chocolate brown eyes, plump lips, a small button nose and red-ish brown with blonde tips curly hair pinned up into a bun at the top of her head.

was wearing light wash skinny jeans with a plain black hoodie and black high-top converse sneakers.

The women on the right looked at least 19 years old. She was pretty pale with small brown eyes, pink lips, and a small nose as well. She was wearing a black oversized shirt with fishnets and Black Martens.

"Who's that?" I asked the man besides me.

"That right there is Rico, she's been winning back to back and that is Kim, she's new" He explained pointing out the two women.

'It's like where tf your parents at? You should go and study kid"

This Rico woman did seem pretty good, but she sounded so winded that it was hard to enjoy her bars.

I hope this kid is better.

Yumi's Pov
Whilst this woman was rapping I was thinking of things to say, but I was started to get distracted by the things I would get with the money if I won.

Suddenly, the crowd started cheering as Rico smiled at me.

"Alright, alright calm down, let's welcome Kenny!" The Mc announced as the dj put on my best.

Yoongi pov
"Look, if you don't want no smoke. Then don't talk like you do or act like you do.."

I wasn't expecting her to pop off like that. To be honest I don't know what to say.

"Cause I promise you any hoe around this bitch can get ate, that's 6 plus 2"

"Rico might lose this one!" The man besides me cheered

Time skip
When the kid finished the crowd went wild

"Hey! Rico?" The Mc asked as the crowd cheered as she tried hyping them up.

"Ken-" The man was cut off by the crowd roaring, making the little girl on stage shyly smile as she hid her face.

"And the winner is...Kenny! Congratulations!" The Man announced as the crowd cheered and Rico bent down, grabbing all of her winning from the ground.

"Great job! I hope to see you tomorrow night!" Rico smiled handing Kenny the money.

I couldn't hear what she said but her expression said it all, absolutely shocked. Kenny respectfully bowed and walked off of the stage.

Yumi's POV
To be honest I really didn't think she would give me her winnings. There was so much money in my bookbag right now.

As soon as I entered the crowd I was congratulated with people slapping my back and shaking my hand.

"Great job!" One man said, smiling at me.

"Thank you" I said, bowing my head respectfully.

"Are you coming tomorrow?" One woman asked me, I couldn't help but smile awkwardly.

"Um, I think so!" I shouted as I reached the exit door of the garage and opened it.

Timeskip
When I arrived to the orphanage, my caretaker's car was luckily, not parked in front of the building.

'No way' I thought as I climbed up the stairs and rung the doorbell. Seconds later, the door opened revealing the woman I disgust the most, Ms. Jung.

"I'm glad you finally decided to join us Yumi." She said grabbing a fistful of my hair and dragging me inside, slamming the front door shut.
