Today is the day. I tell myself. Today is the first day of a new school, nobody knows you, nobody cares about you. You can do whatever you want. I take a deep breath, take my last look in the mirror and swing my bag around my shoulder. I give my mum a last peck on her cheek and leave for school. It's only a few minutes walking to my new school. Luckily. My mum and I moved here just a week ago.
My legs are shaky and my palms wet when I walk trough the big doors of the school. I have only been here once. And that was before the big summer holiday. I get a paper handed out from an old, bald, man. I look on it, it has the scedule for meetings on it. Class 11, Class 11. Please be on ittt! My mind wanders. Room 102! There it is! It's the first on here on my right. I remember that! I hurry over there, and I was right, it is the right room. I take a seat in the back of the class.
''Hey, mind if I sit by you?'' I am met with the most beautiful bright blue eyes I have ever seen. ''Hey? uhmm?'' The voice shakes me out of my thoughts. ''W-what?'' I stutter. ''Can I sit here?'' She asks again. ''Yea, of course you can!'' I say, nodding my head. Stay cool. But my body doesn't listen to my brain. It's hard to concentrate, and my eyes keep going to her. What is this girl doing to me?
''You're new aren't you?'' She asks. I blush and nod my head, looking her way. She chuckles softly, ''It's fine, don't be ashamed. Being the 'new one' seems worse but it's fine, really'' She makes me more secure of myself. ''Come sit with me during lunch''. ''Yea, that would be better than sitting alone'' I give her a shy smile. ''Deal''
The teacher tells us a lot about the school, classrooms, breaks and all that kind of stuff. He hands out our scedules, and then it comes. He notices I am a new student. ''Hey! Girl in the back! You're new, aren't you?'' He says, smiling wide. ''I love to see new students around here. Who would like to give her a tour later this day?'' A few boys rise their hands, and also a few kinda nerds do. ''I will'' The girl next to me raises her hand. ''Ah, Aria. That is very kind of you. Are you okay with that?'' His head goes back to me. ''Yes, seems fine with me'' I say, smiling. ''Good, you two are excused for the rest of the day''
''This way!'' The girl, Aria , takes my hand and pulls me to a table. There are very, very many people. And it is kind of scaring me. ''Hey Relax, they're all freshman. They will be gone soon. They have classes in another part of the school.'' I nod slowly
