Let's Pretend (REMAKE)

Emily woke up from her dream and let out a sigh. She misses those days with Tae.

She remembered the day he told her that he was leaving.

"Em, I need to tell you something." Mumbled Taehyung.

"What is it Tae?" Emily asked, her voice laced with curiosity.

"I uhh, I'm moving away tomorrow." He said, his voice shaking slighty.

"WHAT?"

"I'm really sorry I only found out today.."

"Where are you moving to?"

"Korea, my mother said it would be better for me to grow up in her home country "

"That's so far away, we won't see each other anymore!"

"I know, I'm so sorry." Tears were now flowing down both their faces.
"I promise I'll come back."

He gave her one last hug before they said their final goodbyes.

Emily let out another sigh as she picked up her phone to check the time. It was 11pm so she decided to get dressed and walk to the nearby cafe.

She jumped out of bed and opened up her wardrobe. After spending what felt like forever, she finally decided to wear her favourite black ripped jeans,
a white t-shirt, her warm maroon jumper and pair of black converse shoes.

Once she was ready she grabbed her wallet and phone and stuffed them into her pockets before heading out her front door.

On the way to the cafe she felt the cool breeze hit her face. It was the middle of Autumn and the warm rays of the sun hitting her face on a beautiful Sumner afternoon had become nothing more than a memory.

Emily was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't look where she was going until she bumped straight into something.. or someone.

"Oh my God I'm so sorry!" she blurted out before looking up.

"Emily?"

"Taehyung??"

After their unexpected meeting Emily and Taehyung decided to go catch up in the cafe Emily had originally been walking to.

"Okay before we ask any other questions, how is your voice so deep now? Did you like go through triple puberty? Omg did you have voice cracks? I can't believe I missed your voice cracks that would have been so funny!"

Taehyung chucked at Emily's rambling. "I'm glad to see you still have as much energy as you used to."

Emily grinned at that. "Not that much has changed, you still have your cute lil chubby cheeks" She said while pinching his cheeks.

Taehyung was about to protest but heard his phone buzz. He looked at his phone before groaning. "I just remembered I'm meant to be meeting my other friend, I got distracted when I bumped into you"

"Why not just ask him if he wants to join us here?"

"Hmm that's a good idea actually - he said sure"

"So what's this guy like? Does he have a triple puberty voice like you or what?" They both laughed at that.

Soon a guy showed up wearing a red jacket with skinny black jeans. He looked around before seeing Taehyung and then walking over.

"H-hi you must be Emily, I'm Jungkook" he mumbled while shyly waving.

"Hey Jungkook! I'm Emily, it's nice to meet you!" She beamed.

Jungkook was surprised by how brightly she smiled, he found himself smiling back.

"Nice to meet you too" he mumbled.
