"What do you mean, Inspector?"
"A truck lost control and collided with a car at the intersection," he elaborates. "The individual in the car lost his life in the accident, while five others sustained injuries."
"Inspector, please wait a moment."
"But, Mrs..."
I calmly end the call.
I entered the room, anticipating Aditya's presence, only to find it devoid of any trace of him. My voice echoed through the space as I called out his name repeatedly, hoping for a response that never came."Aditya, where are you? Aditya... Aditya.... Adityaaa"
Walking the stairs, my eyes fell upon a white shirt resting on the bed, a sight that sent shivers down my spine. In that moment, the intensifying rain outside startled me, its heavy downpour resounding against the window, the walls, and the roof. Descending the stairs, I called out to him once more, my voice laden with a mix of concern and frustration. "Aditya, where are you? Aditya... please I don't like games all the time!"
