Baylynn's POV (continued)
School is literally right around the corner and I just really don't want to deal with it. I start tomorrow, how great is that. I have no idea what I'm wearing or bringing to school.
I fucking hate school and the fake bitches who are always trying to be your friend but, just leave you after they got what they want.
Once I was done thinking of school I got a whole lot of weight lifted off my chest. I realized that my mom was calling me downstairs. So I rushed down over to her.
A few moments after my mom called me she told me that our new neighbors are officially moving in later on today. She only knew because my dad had small talk with the new family earlier this week. They said the family seemed really sweet. I also found out they have two sons, one is 17 and the other is 15.
After that I went back upstairs and plopped myself on my bed. I was bored to death but, I realized I haven't seen Chase. I got out of bed and went over to Chase's room.
"Knock knock." I said just barging into his room. "Well thanks for knocking." He glared at me. "Anytime." I gave the biggest smile I could make. "So whats up buddy, how ya been?" I lied on his bed while he was playing video games of course, I played video games but, girl he plays them like he is about to die tonight! "Well besides the video game, good but, eh I don't know." I shot him a confused look. "That entire sentence did not make any sense whatsoever." He laughed, probably at my reaction.
"Well I mean, okay." He put his remote controller down and spun his chair around to be facing me. "Remember Ava? The girl I hu-" I cut him off. "Yeah I remember her! Yay we're going to talk about Chase's love life." I clapped my hands together like a 3 year old getting a new toy.
"Yeah yeah yeah, the point is I was trying to ask her out but," I cheered laying down. "she kind of, er uhm uh like whats that called FRIEND ZONED ME!" He yelled in frustration. My jaw dropped to the ground. "Oh buddy its okay, come here." I sat up and patted the spot next to me. "I thought we could've really work sis.
"WHERE THIS BITCH AT?" I said pretending to get up and attack her. "Stop Bay!" He pulled my arm looking so downhearted. I just pulled him in for a hug. "Its okay there are other fishes in the sea bud. Maybe she just isn't the right fishy yet." I patted his back. "Thanks sis." He smiled slightly. "Anytime bud, well you know where to find me!" I walked toward his door.
*Chase's POV*
I didn't want to tell all of this to Bay but, I just kind of broke. I thought Ava and I were feeling something. I guess not. Bay is amazing, she always knows how to fix problems. I'm glad she is apart of my life.
*Baylynn's POV*
I walked out of Chase room and saw my mom coming forward me looking like she was about to enter Chase's room.
"Hey hun." She smiled trying to open Chase door. "Uh mom I don't think thats a good idea." I stopped her from turning the knob. "I don't think now would be the right time." I half grinned. She just nodded her head understanding.
I continued to walk over to my room and I just jumped in bed.
I know what its like being friend zoned.
Trust me.
