My perfect mornings always had to be ruined by something.
And this something was Onsaku. I contemplated not even helping the idiot out as he asked to hitch a ride on my bike, but I couldn't just let him miss a day of school, I wasn't that much of an ass.
I quickly stopped my bike in front of Onsaku's house, leaning forward on the handle bars with a pout. Just as I was about to take out my phone to text the idiot to haul ass, he was barreling out his front door, breakfast slipping from his hands and falling straight on the concrete as he put on his school jacket.
My immediate Rea citron was to double over in laughter, nearly falling off my bike at the sight of it.
When I looked back up, it was hard not to go into another laughing fit at the large pout and doughy eyes as he stared at the wasted food.
He didn't have time to mourn, we had to actually get to school.
"Hey, Saku, let's go," I dragged put the last word to show how bored I was standing in front of his house when we were going to be late for school.
He snapped out of his sad daze, eyes trained on the floor as he moped forward. I sighed, just shaking my head and grabbing the protein bar from my side pocket. A Huffmans escaped my lips as I chucked it at him, the food ungracefully slamming against his forehead and plopping down to his hands.
Immediately, his face lit up. "Ah Sweet! Thank you (Y/N)!" he shouted with glee, only causing me to roll my eyes. I had hardly noticed his family in the front door, aunt Jirou having the most annoyed look fathomable on her face. "You really couldn't hold onto your breakfast?" She asked, pinching the bridge of her nose. She had clearly just got off of work, she seemed exhausted and she was still wearing her hero costume.
Uncle Kami on the other hand wore a huge grin on his lips, still on pajamas as heeled onto his cup of coffee. He didn't say anything, just kept goofingly smiling like an idiot.
Onsaku looked at me with a confused expression as I stayed seated on my bike. It took me a few seconds to realize his pea sized brain was waiting for me to get off. "Nuh-uh! Get the fuck on the back, dickwad!" I shouted, knowing damn well I was not spotting a ride on my own bike.
Thats when I heard Uncle Kami laugh a bit. "Ah, you're still a spitting image of your dad, (Y/N)!" He said with a hearty laugh, "Tell him I said hi!" He said with a grin.
I shook my head, this guy literally worked at my dads agency and saw him everyday. As Onsaku climbed on the back of my bike with a frown, I just sighed lightly and kicked the kickstand back up. "You know he won't say hi back, sir," I said pitifully, nearly laughing at the way the pro nearly choked on his coffee as his wife laughed.
I just started pedaling, immediately groaning at the strain it took to actually start going fast. "How much do you weigh, jackass!" I asked, finally going at a reasonable speed. I looked over my shoulder, smirking at the sight of Onsaku inhaling the protein bar I gave him. He cocked a brow in confusion, "Whatcha say?" He asked.
I just shook my head, keeping my eyes trained forward.
I let a sigh fall from my lips, leaning forward with a slight glare from the bright sun. "Where's loverboy?" Onsaku asked, fumbling around at the back fo the bike. He swung his leg around so he was now sitting normally on the bike, his feet on either side of the wheel. His hands reached forward, locking around my waist. I could see his shit eating grin from here.
