Chapter Three

“So I just deaded you, Left you in all black, But dear old Nicki, Please call back”

 

Ray’s POV

 

Well me, my boys, and Mye’s friends were in the hospital waiting area. We are waiting for the doctor to come out. I met Mye’s mom. She’s surprisingly calm through all this. The doctor comes out.

“The family of Myella Anderson.”

(Everybody stands up)

“Hello I’m Dr. Kenneth Ross. Myella is fine. She just passed out from too much adrenaline. She can leave tonight after we run some standard test to make sure she is fine. You may go see her now. She is in room 206”

We all say thanks and head up to Mye’s room. I get there first and I walk in and she smiles at me.

Mye: Ray!

Ray: Hey Mye. Are you okay?

Mye: I’m fine. How are you?

Ray: (laughs) I’m good beautiful. You scared me back there.

Mye’s mom: You scared us all sweetiekins!!!!

Mye: I’m sorry mom and guys. I didn’t mean too.

KJ: You good girl. But you did whoop Ka$hmere’s ass doe!

Mye’s mom: Language, Kaelyn Johnson!!!!

KJ: Sorry. (looks down)

DD: I’m glad you did. I was waiting on you to stop taking her...errr...stuff.

Mye: What are you talking about?

Rella: Bish whet you mean?

Prodigy: She must’ve blacked out.

(Everybody says Oh)

Prince: I’m glad you’re okay mami.

Mye: Thanks.

Roc: How does that hospital food taste?

Mye: It’s aight. They gave me a ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes and sweet potato fries with apple juice and tapioca.

Roc: I don’t bangs with none of that.

Mye: IKR! Mommy can you get me some McDonalds?

Ray: I can get it for you beautiful.

Mye’s Mom: Sarah he’s a keeper this one!!!

Mye: (blushes) Thanks Ray. Are you sure?

Ray: Positive. I would do anything for you. (blushes)

KJ: I’ll come with you. Anybody want sum?

Everybody: Yeah.

Me and KJ head to my car. We are on our way to McDonalds.

KJ: Thank you Ray.

Me: For what?

KJ: For treating Mye so nice. She really needs a guy like you.

Me: Why? What happened?

KJ: Well, she used to date Jacquees an.. gco

Me: Who?

KJ: (sighs) The guy she kneed in the nuts.

Me: Oh

KJ: ANYWAYS!!! She used to date him and everytime they were together he used to talk down to her about her weight and hit her. He cheated on her with THOTTA… I mean Ka$hmere and started to bully her.

Me: (grips stearing wheel really tight )(gets pissed)

I just nodded and I think I might need to pay that nigga a visit. Putting his hands on my future girl, he must be out his goddamned mind.

We went to McDonald’s and got the stuff and I went to Taco Bell to get my stuff. We walked back in the hospital.

Everybody was eating, joking and having fun. I don’t know why but just to see Mye smile and be happy makes me happy. I don’t know about cuffing her yet but from the way she looking right now I just might have too.

7 hours later, she signs her release papers and is grabbing her stuff. Everybody went home already. I decided to stay so I could spend more time with her and plus I gotta take her to get her car. We pulled up to school.

Ray: Dere you go beutiful.

Mye: Thanks Ray. For everything. You are a good person.

Ray: I wish that was the truth…

Mye: It is! You are a good person Ray and if anybody says any different tell them to come and see me.

Ray: (laughs) Aight beautiful.

Mye gives me a hug and kisses me on my cheek and hops out. BRUH!!!! I’m goin crazy over this I might as well forget it when she really kisses me. I drive off and leave.

 

Mye’s POV

Yeah I kissed Ray on the cheek so what! As I drive away, I think I need to change for the better. Be more like KJ, Rella and DD. More courageous, braver. I think it's time to change....
