everyone had arrived at the destination. the destination was where the groups could perform. a big stage. the company had invited staff, families, friends, and the people who were excited to see a preview of the working of the future two groups.
this whole performance is going to work differently. it's going to be broadcasted. the six groups will perform and there will be a live voting. there will be two groups that will win the voting. they will be one step closer to becoming a group. groups with the least amount of votes will lose their spot in the company.
the makeup and hair artists were all frantically getting group 1 ready. group 1 got the advantage of getting a hair and makeup artist. other groups will be doing their own hair and makeup artists.
rosé looked at her phone worried. her parents were coming to see here. she's been waiting for a text from them. no matter how nervous she might be for her performance, she's more worried about how her parents are going to take this. rosé was so distracted by her worries, she doesn't notice that daehyun's been calling her for the past five minutes.
"rosé....rosé....rosé...rosie?" daehyun said and waved his hand across rosé's face.
"huh? what happened?" rosé asked and looked at daehyun.
"the broadcast is about to start..." daehyun said and rosé nods, "it's your parents again?"
"yeah," she said and put her head down
"don't worry about them...just keep your head up," daehyun said and pulled rosé's chin up.
rosé smiled and they both walk up to the stage.
"ladies and gentlemen...welcome to the first ever preview of yg's upcoming male and female groups." the mc said, "we have six groups who will perform two songs. each group has worked over a week to prepare us a great cover stage. if we get enough views on this broadcast, we will be airing the finale of this new groups. now the company had split groups into six groups. each group having a varying amount of members. from 7 to 12. these trainees will have to put on an amazing performance to gain your votes. by the end of this broadcast, we will ask the audience to vote for their favorite group. the two groups that have the highest amount of votes, will be competing to win a spot to become the new company rising groups and some more training," he looked at the audience, "we will be meeting our groups right now with a vcr..." he said and the vcr rolls in.
"you will be on in ten minutes..." a staff informed group 1.
rosé looked out the curtains and spots her parents in the front rows.
"we're going on in ten minutes," daehyun said
"i know..." rosé said
"don't worry," he said and turned rosé over to face him, "you'll do great. if you focus...we'll get enough votes and compete for the new group,"
"alright," rosé said
"look into my eyes..." he said and rosé followed what he said, "please be the greatest person out there. don't worry and i'll always be here,"
