"Hello? Changbin?"

Changbin felt his heartbeat quicken and his breathing started becoming unsteady, his palms were sweaty. (mom's spaghetti. sorry, this isn't the time)

He tried to say something, anything, but he couldn't even muster a 'Hi.'

"Changbin? Is that you?" She spoke again, and Changbin felt his eyes well with tears.

He thought he was over it, he really did.

Changbin had almost forgotten everyone else will still there and when he finally looked up to see all eyes were on him, he dropped his phone and fled to the nearest bathroom.

He felt like he was dying. He couldn't breathe and he felt as though his heart would eventually explode.

A knock could be heard on the bathroom door.

"Changbin, I told you, you didn't have to do it." Seungmin said, his voice soft and slightly muffled.

Changbin continued to gasp for air, but it seemed like there was almost none around him.

Seungmin started to get worried as he heard his friend sobbing uncontrollably, "Hey, can you please let me in, I just wanna make sure you're okay."

Changbin was able to choke out a small 'No.'

"Hey, Changbin?" A new voice came from behind the door, one Changbin only recognized as Felix's.

"I'm so dumb for daring you to do that, I'm sorry." His words were laced with guilt and worry. Changbin felt bad for making a scene and ruining the loose and fun atmosphere. He didn't mean to make such a fuss, but for some reason hearing her voice really set him off.

He felt all those similar feelings from long ago; the betrayal, the hurt, the loneliness.

"Changbin can you please come out Look, we don't even have to talk about it, I can just give you a big ol' hug." Seungmin said with hopefulness.

A hug sounded amazing to Changbin right now. He really needed it. And so he slowly opened to door and embraced Seungmin immediately, crying softly into his shoulder as Seungmin rubbed small circles on his back.

Changbin felt like his heart was breaking in two all over again, remembering the memories, remembering what she did.

"Can I give you a hug too?" Felix asked, opening his arms wide to embrace Changbin.

Changbin nodded slowly, removing himself from Seungmin and going to hug Felix. He was warm. Very warm. He felt safe and welcoming, but then again, that was just Felix's personality in general.

Felix hugged Changbin a little bit tighter before he eventually let him go, "Again, I'm so sorry for doing that. I'm such an idiot."

Changbin wiped his eyes and slowly started to catch his breath, "Yeah, you are."

"Do you want to go home?" Seungmin chimed in from behind him.

Changbin nodded.
