I slowly wake up, trying to remember what happened last night.

I look around me and I see Tal peacefully sleeping, facing me. We are on the couch in the living room.

I stand up and walk to the kitchen, where I see a note saying "saw that you were sleeping, so I let you both sleep. Dad and I leaving for a few days due to work. See you soon xx Mom" and next to it 100 dollars.

Great...that's the third time they leaving 'coz of work...
I hear something behind me and I quickly turn around.

'Relax, it's just me' he says laughing but scared.

'I'm going upstairs to change' I say.

'I'm gonna change too. Ill be back in a minute to bake you something' and he closes the door.

Wow hes so responsible...it's weird seeing this side of him...this...amazing personality of his.

I go upstairs quickly and change into shorts and just a basic T-Shirt. I put on socks 'coz my feet are always cold and go downstairs again. I go to the bathroom and quickly do my hair and brush my teeth. I never put on make-up because I just...don't like it I guess. I don't know I just prefer showing my real face instead of putting on 20 layers of foundation and all those products to be someone I'm not.

He comes back and enters (he left the door open lol) and I see him with a towel and suncream.

'What's that for?' I ask.

'After I cook us some food we are going to the beach. My parents are gone too, they probably went with yours, so we have nothing else to do and no where else to be so we are gonna enjoy summer and go to the beach' he says in one breath. After finishing that whole speach he's out of air and starts inhaling very deeply.

He left me speechless, but he already knew that so he doesn't even wait for me to answer and he goes into the kitchen.

His parents and mine work at the same job and have the same position so they travel a lot together. Probably why Shani and I are such good friends....Shani...I haven't heard of her in so long.

'What's up with Shani?' I ask Tal, who is getting everything ready for pancakes.

'Oh, she didn't tell you?'

When he sees my worried expression he just assumes she didn't and says.

'She moved with her boyfriend to Japan' he says focusing again on the pancakes.

'She WHAT?'
