Lantern Disasters

            *arriving at the school*                 
Walking into the build was heart pounding. The ceiling was probably 25 tall, classrooms were big and not to mention hotel like bathrooms.

"Um, excuse me"

I turned around to see her.

"Are you just going to stand there?!! You little bi--" the young girl beside her raised her hand towards my direction. I closed my eyes hoping that Rea or someone could stop this psycho from slapping me.

Until someone stopped it.

"If your going to hit the new girl make sure I don't see it"

That voice...

I slowly opened my eyes to find someone so familiar standing before me, grabbing the wrist of the hand that might've slapped me.

"She was blocking our future Princess Kai! You of all pe-"

"Nadia-" Joongin got cut off

"Kat, are you okay- Jessica.." Rea's eyes starred to glow pink.

"Stop. Look I apologize. Rea let's go, please"

"Running away?!"

Ugh... Why did it have to be her?

"Jessica, you've embarrassed the Vladislav's name long enough"

We all turned heads, to one of the originals. The head master. Whom I assume to be my jackass of a uncle...Marcus Vladislav.

"Father, I-"

"Save your excuse and get to homeroom" he said sternly.

His eyes were red, but he wasn't as enchanting as my father's eyes.

"Kathernia and Andrea Chun?" He glanced and looked at us as we both nodded. He then motioned us to follow him.

I glanced back at the boy and smiled as he smirked. I knew he'd get the message. I then faced forward and started to follow our head master once again. We eventually came to a stop, which I would assume to be his room. Walking in felt so different. Order. Air thickness. The warm smell of blood.

"Katherina and Andrea Chun, I have your class schedule" he stated which grabbing two papers and giving it to us.

"I don't want another infraction" with a stern voice

"With all respect, but your daughter-" before Rea could say another line, the bell rang.

"Rea. The bell rang. Thank you head master, this will be the last time you'll see us" I stated. Unknowingly feeling some type of power welling inside me. Something I've never felt before.

We finally got out pf that horrid space and went to class and for some reason I was in a mix pure and half blood class. Unfortunately Rea was in the class down the hall.

"Look who we have here" a girl said out loud while looking at me straight in the eyes.

"New girl picked a little fight with our princess"

"Not to mention a low life protector tried fighting the original blood line"

"She wasn't expelled yet?"

"How amusing.. You all think I started it all" I suddenly stated with confidence.

"Look what we have. New kid isn't all bark afterall"

"Nadia" with bitterness I spoke her name.

"Don't say my name. It disgusts me. Besides I think that this protector needs to learn her place" she said. That same hand that should've slapped me raised again.

"What did I say about trying to hit the new kid?" A deep stern voice spoke out.

"Kai that's twice today, what's wrong with you? Your suppose to be on my side" Nadia whined like a five year old.

"Get lost" he shoved her away as she eyed me out. He suddenly turned my way and smirked.

"

Get to your seat new kid" he ruffled my hair and walked in the back of the class and took his seat.

I followed him and took the vacant seat closer to the window, but not far from his. More like an arms length.

I took out my books and pencil and waited til first period started. I glanced to see how Joongin or Kai or whatever his name was and I was trying to figure him out...

"How long are you gonna stare at me?" He mumbled just enough for my ears alone.

"Oh.. Um.. Sorry. Than-"

"Don't say thank you"

"How do I-"

"Buy me lunch today and were even" he said and drifted off to sleep.

A few periods passed and lunch came. I bought him a bento and tomato juice, assuming that he was one of them. I brought it back to the class and he left a note on my desk saying 'bring it to the roof'. Which is what I did.

Arriving to the roof, I saw him standing there, as I approached him he turned to my direction. Slowly walking towards my direction, cornering me to a wall. I closed my eyes as I turned my head away from him hoping he wouldn't see me blush.

"What are you doing?" I slowly opened my eyes as I saw the bag of food in his hand. I smiled and mentally cursed at myself for being gullible and easy.

"Nothing.. You just startled me. Anyways thank you and like you said were even n-"

"Hold on new kid. I saved you twice in one day, you fulfilled one task. There's one more thing to it"

"What is i-"

"Eat with me" he said as he tossed me the other carton of tomato juice. I let out a small sigh and just sat down across from him as he kept eating the bento. A bit too fast actually.

He suddenly choked, as I hurriedly opened the carton and gave it to him as he smiled in return and continued eating fast. Lunch was about over and I lost my appetite for today, due to the ridiculous events.

As I walked out the door of the roof, he pulled me back to where he was and he nuzzled his face in the side of my neck.

"It's good to see you Rina. I thought you were dead"
