War Mission

Sakura p.o.v

"Now Sakura!!!" I heard Naruto yell. I ran forward at the target and swung, my chakra pumped fist sailing threw the wooden dummy that Kakashi had set up.

"Wow! That has to be a new record!" My blonde teammate yelled. I sighed and ran my hand threw my hair.
"Naruto, I really have to go. I have patients at the hospital who need me." I groaned. Naruto frowned and started to whine. I couldn't waste anymore time. "See you later Naruto!" I yelled as I hurried toward the hospital.

As I arrived Tsunade caught me by the arm. "Sakura, I have a very important mission for you. I've already informed Naruto and Sai and they will be going with you."

She said trying to keep her voice down so no one would hear. I nodded, "Whats the mission?" I asked.

"I want you to track down Kabuto and bring him back to me. He could make or break this war and I know Madara is after him." She said.

"What could Madara want with Kabuto?" I asked completely confused.
"That's what we are trying to find out. Now your team will meet at the gates in two days." I nodded in understanding.

"Don't take this lightly. Kabuto is still a highly dangerous criminal." She said walking off toward the hokage's mansion. I sighed in frustration and headed inside the hospital.

2 days have passed

I yawned and rolled over in my bed. I opened my eyes and was met by Naruto's face.

"MORNING SAKURA!!!" He yelled, I screamed and fell backwards out of my bed and onto the hard floor.
"NARUTO YOU IDIOT!!" I yelled as I grabbed a pillow and chucked it at him. Of course it just bounced off his chest but it still made me feel better.

"What the hell are you doing here in my house!? In my bedroom!?" I asked standing. Naruto rubbed his head, "Well I came threw your window. And I'm here because you over slept. Me and Sai have been waiting for thirty minutes." I groaned and ran to my bathroom trying to get ready. After I brushed my teeth I ran back into my room and grabbed my bag full of stuff and nodded signaling that I was ready to go.

I followed beside Naruto and Sai as they argued back and forth. "I'm just saying Sai, you need to be a man and ask Ino out." Naruto said.

"I am more of a man then you. At least I have a dick and can tell when a girl likes me." Sai grumbled. Naruto's eyes widened and he opened his mouth to reply but I spoke first.

"Look stop the fighting you two.  Where are we going?"

"Tsunade said Kabuto was in the sound village. That's where we are heading." Naruto said to me as we started walking faster through the woods outside the leaf village.

"She also said to watch for Madara or a team he had put together." Sai added. "I still can't figure it out. What would Madara want with Kabuto?" I asked as we started to rush threw the tree's to get to the sound faster.

"Maybe he's not just a ninja under the care of Orochimaru." Sai said.

I nodded and continued on knowing we would reach the sound by nightfall. As the sky started to darken, we passed over the border of the sound village. We stood in a small lively town. People were laughing and cheering. Couple's were cuddled up together and I felt a pang of sadness. I remembered two years ago when my love had left me again.

"Ah. Ramen!" Naruto yelled, running toward the food shop and Sai followed silently. I sighed and started to follow when something caught my eye. I turned and saw a figure with silver hair up in a spikey pony tail. He smiled turned and ran. Kabuto! My mind screamed. I didn't have time to alert Naruto or Sai so I ran after him.

"STOP!" I yelled and to my surprise he did. He stood across from me on a tree branch. Slowly he turned and gave me an evil smile.

"Well Tsunade's little medic. What are you doing down here in my neck of the woods?" He asked.

"I'm here to capture you. So please make me use force." I growled. He nodded and started to jump. I rushed forward and caught him in the face with a chakra filled fist, sending him crashing threw branches and landing with a thump on the ground. I landed beside him and put chakra cuffs on his wrist.

"Thank you for making me use force." I growled. He gave a small laugh as I stood him up. " I would rather be captured by you then the others." He said.

"Others?" I asked. But before he could answer Naruto and Sai appeared at my side. "Hey you got him." Naruto said taking Kabuto from me.

"He must be pretty weak." Sai commented. My eyes narrowed at him and he gave me his fake smile.
"Come on we should rest tonight. we will leave tomorrow after noon." I said. They nodded and we returned to the inn.
