I remember how the city looked from my eyes. The pretty bright lights glowing just for the two of us and the stars below decorating the sky I loved so much.
I kept talking about how much I enjoyed the view, between the lines, talking about how much I loved seeing you here beside me.
I laughed and laughed at the silly things you said and when we drove around the boulevard, the two of us.
I had a sleepy brain and it was a quarter after 10, but I wanted to spend time with you, so I kept myself awake.
I showed you my favorite place in town and the way you laughed it off, probably thinking I was the weirdest girl you've ever met.
I liked the fact you decided to hang around with me, not caring if I was too weird or too crazy. You just did.
