I will never fall for someone like you. Ever. I promise. You're obnoxious. Rude. Always late. Sometimes never even home. You call me names. And make fun of me. And then you say something like "you're amazing." It gets me in the feels. Then you stare at me. Right into my eyes. Like you're looking into a whole new world. And then I feel special for a while. For that brief ten second stare. And then you look away. Like you didn't just make butterflies flutter uncontrollably in my stomach. And then you stand there, looking all sexy and expect me to not melt. Your beauty is effortless and I'm here, like a shadow to you. And then you look away, yet again. Forget that little two minute stare down. And I go back to being your shadow. I will not fall for you. Even if I am your wife.
