Rucas vs. Laya

"Hey Maya what's up?"

"Nothing, why?"

"Nothing huh?" She said not caring to awnser her question.

Riley knew there was something up. Maya and Lucas had been hanging out together more, flirting with thier eyes (you know what I mean). She would never have even had the thought of them liking each other before the school gossip Allie said so (and she's usually right).

The thought of them dating repulsed Riley.

Maya stopped and looked at Riley. "Ok, what's your problem?!"

Then Riley snapped.

"Your a liar, and your dating Lucas!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Jeez, get a hold of yourself!" Maya looked shocked.

"Just admit it Maya!!!" Everyone was staring now.

"Fine." "Lucas and I are together!!" "You happy now?!"

"No." Said Riley looking hurt. "No."

"We can't be friends." Said Riley quietly.

"Riley wait." Maya reached out for her as she walked off. But Riley just pulled away from her grasp. Everyone in the hallway made a path for her to walk. About halfway down the hallway she turned to Maya.

"You betrayed me."

Maya just stood there in shock. How could she have hurt Riley like this? Her and Riley have had fights before that but this one was different...she just lost her best friend.
