"Please no" I smiled as my best friend, Ella, pushed me forward into our dorm. I really did not want to sing in front of everyone.

"Oh come on, we all know you have the best voice out of everyone here. Sing for us!" she shouted and plopped down on the sofa with our other friends Millie, Harrison, Charlie, and Matt.

"I don't know about the best  voice" I half-smiled. "I'll sing later," I announced, pulling out my phone and jumping on the bed. "What do you guys wanna do for dinner?" I asked, just realizing that it was already 7:00.

"Eh, I'm really not sure. Anything is fine with me," Harrison mumbled, not even glancing up from his phone.

"How's Marissa doing?" I asked him. "Are you still mad at her?" Harrison shut off his phone and let out a sigh.

"Yeah. I mean, how can you not be mad if your two-year girlfriend cheated on you with another guy? She keeps texting me, pretending to be all sorry about it. I just don't know what to do you know?"

"Hmm," we all hummed in agreement. "Are you gonna break up with her?" Matt questioned.

"Don't know yet. I still love her, but I don't know if I can trust her," Harrison frowned at his phone. "Here she goes again," he muttered as he furiously started typing on his phone.

"Charlie, Ella, Millie, what about you? Dinner ideas?" I pressed. My stomach started to growl.

"How about something on main street?" Charlie piped up. "I heard there's a really good Mexican restaurant just down the street. It wouldn't hurt to check it out. Plus... guacamole..." Charlie mischievously grinned. We all laughed.

"I could go for Mexican," Ella yawned. "As long as we can get back by 10:00. My English teacher is giving us an 'advanced vocab test' tomorrow and I need to study the definitions big time."

"Already?" Millie wondered. We've only been in school for two weeks!"

"Yep. I know," Ella yawned again. "I guess that's just how she teaches." Matt checked the time, then jumped up.

"Schnitzel," He muttered. "I have to meet Jason in the lobby in 2 minutes." He grabbed his coat and headed for the door. "Sorry I won't be joining you guys for dinner tonight," he smiled. "Jason and I are going to the Cheesecake Factory for our anniversary."

"Aw congratulations!" I smiled. "Have fun!"

"Thanks!" he said and shut the door.

I turned to the group. "Anyone else think Matt and Jason are the cutest couple?" I smiled.

"Yesss" Millie gushed.

"Definitely," Ella smiled.

"I gotta head out too," Millie said. "My sister is visiting from California this week and we are having dinner."

"WHAT," Harrison's head whipped up from his phone screen. "You didn't tell me Charlotte was in town!"

"Uh, yes I did!" Millie rolled her eyes. "This weekend? When we were at moms?"

Harrison stared at Millie for a second and then smiled. "Oh yeah I forgot. Wait why am I not invited?" He pouted at Millie.

Millie sighed. "As I told you over the weekend, we are having a girls night out, but don't worry big brother you'll see her on Friday," She rolled her eyes again and laughed. "This kid." Ella and I giggled.

"See you guys!" Millie cheered as she left.

"So just us four for dinner, huh?" I looked around at Harrison, Charlie, and Ella.

"Yep," Charlie said. I flopped backwards onto my bed. "Ughhh I really don't want to move," I mumbled.

"Oh," Charlie said, a smile forming on his face. "I forgot to mention that the Mexican place does deliver."
