When I woke up, I saw a girl sitting beside the river, far away from the water’s edge. I blinked several times looking at her. After about two-minutes of laying on the ground and thinking about how every introduction I make could go horribly wrong or worse, and how I'd be better off just leaving. I slowly started to get up. The girl looked back at me as I got up. Out of the blue, I heard her say “you passed out.” I looked up at her in confusion, forgetting that I had passed out earlier. I started walking towards her as she kept staring out at the river’s black water. When I got close enough to her, but not close enough for her to attack me, I sat down, and asked her what her name was. “Cera, Cera Thyren” as she said that, her gaze never left the black waters of the river.
“Lulu” I said, after about two-minutes of complete and utter silence between us. She looked at me and said “What?” “Lulu. That’s my name” I told her with a, hoping we can be friends and not enemies, look on my face.
I looked around at the trees on the far side of the river. They were a beautiful crimson red marmalade color. The sun was beginning to set, the sky was an array of colors I had never seen before, and I thought that the Frostica Tundra was the only place that looked this beautiful. I glanced in the air looking around for Aaron, when I didn’t see her, I glanced back at the spot that Cera was at... or was supposed to be at. “She’s gone” I said looking around. I half expected her to jump on me from behind and begin attacking me.
After about five or six minutes of waiting around paranoid, I stood up and walked closer to the water’s edge. I stopped and looked down at the pitch-black water’s in front of me. I heard wingbeats in the sky behind me, the sound of them kept coming closer and closer to me. When I turned around to see who it was fly towards me, I saw that it was Aaron. I smiled, then started waving my arms and hands in the air trying to get her attention. It worked.
As she swooped down and landed on the ground, I walked over to her, but before either of us could say a word.... SNAP.... SNAP.... SNAP .... I knew that someone was coming up behind us, before Aaron did. As soon as I pointed to the forest beside us and she looked over, Cera came jumping out in her Thylo form and scared us both so bad, that we tried to run away. I tripped over something and face planted into the ground. Aaron was running and for some odd reason she jumped. She jumped so high that she cleared the water’s edge and was about to splash into the middle of the river. I looked up in time to see her jumping and used telekinesis on her to stop her from dropping into the water. When I caught her, I realized that I had another problem at hand.
I knew that, to throw something aside fast with as little damage done to it or them, I had to be standing up to keep myself from being flung in it or their direction or back, but I didn’t have time to stand up, my hold on her was starting to give, and I just got my new power to, before I was kidnapped, so I didn’t have time to train with it or do anything to strengthen the power. My telekinesis wasn’t strong enough yet. So, despite the dire consequences, I threw my arm behind me, and Aaron went flying into the forest, and I went flying into the pitch-black water’s below, making a big......SPLASH.
I don’t know what happened to Aaron, if she was hurt or safe. All I knew, was that I could not see anything around me. As I got deeper and deeper into the water, I felt my body start to fade, my eyes closed softly, and my mind start to fall asleep. I was about half way between the surface and the bottom of the river, when something grabbed me and held me in place. I opened my eyes a little and still could not see a thing, so I don’t know what was holding me, but then I heard the same voice from before at the tree, soft and calm. Whoever, Whatever, they were, I could tell that they were worried about me, about my injuries. “Don’t be afraid little one, I am here to help, just relax and let me do the rest.” Then they let go of me and I floated in place for a few seconds before, the water’s above and below me started pushing against me, it hurt at first but then the pain eased away slowly. The water flattened me out, extending my wings, arms, legs, and chest.
