You had just got back from school, and we're exhausted. You had a bunch of tests, and had been panicking for them all day. You decided to try to seek comfort in your boyfriend, small texts and maybe a call would for sure make you feel better.
You quickly sent him a text.
Hey, can we call? If not can we just text for a few minutes?

You had a sick feeling in your subject, immediately upset by the results of waiting around an hour. You knew he needed to record for his channel, he had fans and you excepted that. You just wished he'd take five minutes at most to just ask what's wrong.
You don't have to reply, I just wanna rant real quick okay? I had a really busy day at school. A bunch of tests that gave me tons of anxiety. I can't stop thinking about them and it's been bothering me. I tried to ask the teachers questions about retakes and stuff just in case and was immediately ignored. Barely any of my friends showed up for class.
Sounds like you had an amazing day, I'll make sure to ask more about it when we call later after my recording session. :)
You were getting a little irritated. You understood if he was busy. You'd much rather him not answer then reply.
After about two hours, you pretty much had forgotten the conversation while binge watching Netflix and napping.
You still did want to call, so you tried calling him. It just rang out, and you were about to cry from frustration when you heard the automated message.
"This is ya boi Ezra, I'm not able to make it to the phone right now, I'm probably hanging out with the cutest girl in the world!" Came the reply from the phone, following with your giggle before it ended.
Cue the next day at school, you totally ignored him. Even when he walked up to you in the morning, hugging you from behind. You knew you were being petty, but you didn't care.
"Hey, why are you ignoring me?" He asked, seriously confused by the end of the day.
"I understand you have responsibilities Ezra, but I wish you'd just take maybe 5 minutes tops to just ask how was my day and then I could ask about yours and what your doing." You exploded, talking fast.
"Hey! It's not like I meant to ignore you, I barely saw your text I just wanted to acknowledge your text." The boy answered back, eyebrows furrowed as you both walked out the door.
"Id rather not get an answer if you don't even care about the conversation in the first place." You exclaimed.
"I just can't win with you, can i?" He said quietly.
You stayed quiet, feeling bad, but deciding to stay angry.
"Maybe you should just never text then!" You said back, deadly silence came afterwards.
"Maybe I shouldn't."

You two walked both walked two different directions, making it maybe 10 feet before turning around and profusely apologizing and hugging.
You felt horrible and he felt bad for ignoring you so you both hung out all weekend playing games and watching horror movies.
