Her court and friends were seated at the table and were reuniting as they had not seen each other since the war had ended and they had returned home. they appeared, Rowan instinctively stood up and readied himself to attack. At this move, the fae male at the front of the group stepped forward and shielded the female who had been beside him. Aelin made a gesture for Rowan to sit down, and he did, snarling at the group that had just arrived. The male at the front of the group relaxed slightly, however he didn't move from in front of the female.
