- [ ] Aelin didn't know what to think of the strangers in her dining room. It seemed as though they had traveled from another world, although how, Aelin had no idea. The wyrdkeys were gone, and as far as she knew they were the only was to travel within dimensions. Aelin supposed that she should probably give these strangers a place to stay for the night, but whilst she was thinking some servants came and delivered dessert. Aelin thanked them graciously and asked if there was anything for the people who had just arrived in the dining room. Although they were complete strangers, everyone deserved dessert. This particular dessert was one of Aelins favourites, it was a rich chocolate cake with a chocolate sauce filling, chocolate icing and covered in chocolates and many other sweets. The servants went to go and check, and soon came back with 9 more servings for each of the new arrivals. Whilst they ate dessert, they talked about politics in there own worlds, and to be honest, Aelin found this topic incredibly boring. What did interest her was the talk of how they lived in there own home in Prythian. Rhysands eyes lit up when he talked up Velaris, the court of dreams. He explained how it was a haven to artists of all kinds. Aelin longed for the chance to go and see some of the theatres in Velaris, and to hear the symphonies again. Aelin explained how she had only just returned back to Terrasen, and how she had spent so much of her life in Adarlan. Rowan explained how Aelin had sacrificed nearly everything to put the wyrdkeys back in the lock and Feyre told them how she had been born a human and Rhysand had turned her into a faerie after she had died. Feyre also told them about how in their world humans and fae didn't live in harmony, and how their was a wall separating them. They talked with each other well into the night, and Aelin eventually decided it was time to go to bed at 3:30. Aelin and Rowan personally showed the new arrivals to the guest bedrooms in a separate wing of the palace. Even though it was late, Aelin and Rowan didn't go to bed, but instead sat in there garden and just watched. They stayed until sunrise when Rowan asked, "do you trust these people?" Aelin answered "I genuinely don't know, they seem honest and kind, but I don't understand how they could have got here." "We can work it out later, fireheart, I think it is probably time to go to bed." Replied Rowan.
