(6:00pm At Cherry Blossom Park..)
Two bodyguards escorted Minho out of the car, tailing him through the scattered cherry blossom trees. "Mr Kim, Mr Jung. These are private matters, please wait for me by the car." Minho waved the two off and watched them make their way to the parked Mercedes Benz. There sat Hwang Hyunjin on a park bench, under the shade of a softly swaying cherry blossom tree.
"Minho.." Hyunjin stood up, looking directly into the latter's eyes. "I-um, I wanted to talk to you about something. Something important." He gestured to the park bench, suggesting Minho to sit down. "Hyunjin I-" The honey haired boy began. "No, let me speak Minho."
"I've known you for 10 years. And..and for those 10 whole fucking years I've liked you. And you know that Minho, you've known this whole time.." Hyunjin stared at the swaying branches behind Minho, unable to make eye contact. "B-but you...I know..I know you don't..." The raven haired boy began tearing up, clenching his fists. "You don't like me like that...I-I know.." He swallowed. Minho was entirely speechless, unable to say anything.
"But...you've played me. You act like your interested when you're not! You just use me when you feel like it! You've fucking lead me on time and time again, all too aware of my feelings towards you." Hyunjin heavily breathed as tears stained his cheeks. "I'm done with this Minho.."
The stinging guilt swirling in Minho's chest was overwhelming, almost unbearable. He always knew about Hyunjin's feelings, but—the extent of how much he had hurt him, no, not at all. He had never seen him like this before, that fact that he was crying because of him was–"Hyunjin I-" Minho swallowed the lump in his throat. "I'm so sorry..." A mere whisper was all that came out. "I never knew..how much I'd hurt you. I thought that if I'd kiss you or sleep with you then maybe–maybe I could give you what I couldn't. Wh-which was love and affection." "But I've realised too late now that..that I can't give any of those to you. I don't have feelings for you in that way Hyunjn, I'm really sorry." Minho bowed down, salty tears reaching his lips.
A dry chuckle escaped the raven haired boys lips. "It took you long enough to realise that.." Minho looked up at the tear stained boy. The pain in his eyes was almost unbearable to look at. "Thanks for finally realising. I can move on now." The younger smiled, this time however—it was genuine. A real smile.
2 Days Later..
"Jisung! 2 margaritas for 6 cliff street." His co-worker called. "Alright, hand them over please Jeonginnie." The brunette extended his arms, awaiting the warmth of the cardboard boxes. "Try not to embarrass yourself this time." The younger smirked, slightly revealing his braces. "What are you talking about-" Jisung laughed with feigned confidence. "The 'really hot asshole from the club' remember?." Jeongin chuckled at the latter's lightly blushed cheeks and embarrassed reaction. There was a beat of silence in which the brunette tried to muster up some kind of excuse, but of course what Jeongin said was entirely the truth. "I-I've got pizzas to deliver, gotta blast!" Jisung nearly sprinted out of the pizza parlour, hearing the eruption of laughter from his co-workers. "Damn Jeongin..." The brunette furrowed his eyebrows and hastily strapped the bag to his bike before speeding off down the street.
