Alone I stand as sun sets low,

To cast a shadow as darkness sow.

Drained off life and turned to blunt,

Dreams that shone now begin to haunt.

Night was long and strode away slow,

A stormy wave took me in its flow.

Shattered I was by its outrageous rage,

And here I lay with no fights to wage.

Startled I was by the spirits that doped,

Which bathed my soul with rays of hope.

As hour of darkness slips to dawn,

It's time to revive dreams that had worn.
