Merlyn and Harry were perched on the silver bleachers overlooking the schools oval. After her panic attack and Harry's little rage they decided to skip the rest of the period and just hang out.

"So what's your story?" Harry asked his voice holding amusement.

"It's quiet boring really. Parents divorced, doctors' appointments, no friends, no boyfriend. What about you?" he looked at her, sideways, a sly smile on his face. "What?" he turned away shaking his head.

"Why'd your parents' divorce? Why'd you need a doctor? Why do you have no friends? Why haven't you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever been kissed? Are you a virgin?" he asked in rapid fire.

Holy shit this kid can talk. "Umm, my father cheated, personal reasons, no one likes me, guys think I'm too ugly or too fat, no, and yes." She said in one breath. "You're not fat, you're skin and bones, and you're beautiful." She blushed and he chuckled. "He's lying don't believe that piece of shit. He's too good for you."

Merlyn cleared her throat trying to cover up the hissing voices that decided to make an appearance. "Thanks, but I'm a big girl I can handle the truth. What's your story?" although Harry frowned and shook his head at the fact that she, a women that might as well be hotter than Mexico in the summer, wouldn't believe him.

But he shook it off, "I um moved here from England because of my mum, I uh got kicked out of three schools for starting fights, my dad left when I was young so I didn't know him well. I have an older sister named Gemma and I've only ever had one girlfriend but she died a while ago."

He spoke while Merlyn stared down at her hands. "But real talk here, why do you have to see a doctor?" he asked, she swallowed hard but she knew the question was inevitable due to her big mouth, that the voices were currently cussing her out for.

"You're not like dying are you cus that would suck ass." He said half cautious half joking. She let a short fake laugh leave her mouth robotically.

"Something like that." She said distantly thinking of all the times she tried to put a bullet through her head or wrap a noose around her neck just so she can escape the voices. Those god damn fucking voices, they were destroying her and she was already dead inside.

"Shit. How much time do you have left? If you don't mind me asking?" he added hastily. She smiled and looked at him sadly. "Till I've had enough." She whispered. His half smiled dropped and recognition flooded his eyes.

He was silent for a moment before he took her into his arms hugging her tight causing a slight squeak from her mouth. "Please don't, I'll be around as long as you are." he whispered, and she couldn't help but roll her eyes. "It's not that simple. You don't get it."

She said pulling away and heaving out a sigh.

"Then tell me everything. From start to finish I want to know everything. Help me understand. Maybe I can help you." She started to shake her head the minute he started talking.

She was too far gone, she knows that, her father knows that, her mother knew that, the doctors know it, but Harry doesn't.

"Then tell me everything just for the sake of having a friend." He said grabbing her shoulders and forcing her to look at him. She let out a dramatic sigh throwing her head back and swinging around in his grip causing him to let go. "It started when I was little I had an imaginary friend named Christopher.

He was my best and only friend, and I would talk to him all the time, the only problem was I was too old for an imaginary friend. So mum took me to a child psychiatrist and they diagnosed me with a whole lotta bullshit and I take meds for it, when I was 13 they said I had anorexia nervosa and depression.
